Today is the character breakfast at 1900 Park Fare. Drove over to the GF(you go through the MK toll plaza) and tell them you are going to the hotel. We parked in the guest parking and checked in at the restaurant. We waited about 10 minutes and were seated near the back of the restaurant. If you have ever been there, there is a small back room with about 8 or 10 tables. Our table was in the Main room adjacent to this back room. Since none of the characters were close by, we went up and got our food. Wife and DD both had omelets as there was no line at the omelet station. I had the southwestern scrambled eggs, home fries with corn beef, sausage and fruit. Went back a second time for more eggs and some bacon. We also had some danishes and muffins afterwards. All food was proper temp and of good quality. Waitress service for beverages was very good. Characters at the breakfast were Mary Poppins in the restaurant lobby, Alice, Mad Hatter, Pooh & Tigger. If you take a few second to figure out how they rotate, you won't have to miss the characters while being at the buffet line. Alice came around first(and made it around 2 more times), Pooh second(made it around a second time), Tigger third. Got good pictures with all of them. We had to wait a little while for the Mad Hatter as he interacts at each table more than the other characters. No one asked us to get up and go. It seemed like we could have stayed as long as we wanted. Just as the Mad Hatter was about to hit our table, one of the CM's asked him to take a couple of quick pictures with parties who were in a hurry to leave. When he got back to our table, he sat down next to DD and apologized for the delay. He then proceeded to go through all the different tea bag types on the table complaining that he didn't like many of them. He was very good and worth the wait. We snapped one picture with Mary Poppins and DD on the way out. We had a WONDERFUL time and well worth the $65-70 including tax and tip.

One side note...I was surprised at a number of people who came in, ate and left within 20-25 minutes. No interest in the characters. Just eat and go. Some of the parties had young kids too. Very puzzling.

Thanks for the great review!

We too had a wonderful breakfast at PF in Sept. It was our first breakfast there (we've had dinner 3 times). We too were very pleased with the food, and the characters were wonderful. We ate fairly late (10:40) and my DD7 had plenty of time with the characters. When we left there was only one other group left. The Mad Hatter was great! It was my DD birthday and he made a big deal out of the fact that it wasn't such a special day, not like it was her "unbirthday". Also, he and Alice bantered back and forth, it was very amusing. :goodvibes My DD princess: was able to spend as much time with Mary as she wanted, since we weren't in a hurry. Being our last day there, we weren't doing any parks and our flight was leaving at 2 p.m. Also, since it was her :bday:, she got a tiara, special cupcake (like she needed more dessert :rotfl2: ) and a keepsake placemat, signed and laminated.

We were looking forward to returning again in Sept. (for either breakfast, or dinner) but since PF will be undergoing some renovations during that time and they're moving it to GF Cafe, where it'll still be character, but will be pre-plated not buffet, we will be skipping it this year. We'll either return to PSB in Norway, or try Crystal Palace.

Enjoyed reading your review ~ Thanx for sharing.

Out of all the character breakfasts, this is the favorite of DD18 and mine. Not only is the food VERY good for a buffet, but the character interaction is great. This is a must do every year for us!

Thanks for sharing, we have had breakfast at 1900 Park fayre & really enjoyed it too.

Thanks for the review. We're going to 1900 PF in June, so I'm happy to read a good review of it. :)

Great review!

1900 Park Fare is our favorite breakfast. We have never had a complaint. The characters are fun, the hot food hot, the cold food cold and the waitstaff very attentive.

I love the strawberry soup. Yummy.

We're going in August this year, so 1900 Park Fare will be closed for rehab.:sad1:
