Trying to get a jump start on my planning for next year's trip. Our party will be me (31 at the time of our trip), my brother (27), and my sister-in-law (26). We plan on staying at GF and want to do a breakfast ADR at either 1900 Park Fare or Ohana on a park day when we won't be heading to the park until at least lunchtime. I'm leaning toward 1900 Park Fare because it's right there at GF, but none of us have eaten at either place before.

What would y'all suggest? Is 1900 Park Fare breakfast good for an all-adult party? How do the two restaurants compare?

Well... we were excited to go to Ohana because of LILO and Stitch. We did not like it at all. We had to wait in a long line to see Stitch and we were early. They served food family style and it was terrible. We love 1900 park fair. And the omelette chef there is great! The mad hatter is fun as were Mary poppins and Alice. My vote would be to stay at the grand Floridian

My wife and I, no kids, literally decided this morning to add this to our March trip. We were there a couple of years ago. Pretty standard WDW breakfast buffet quality, a few unique things (as most breakfast buffets have). We had some great interactions with Mary, MH and Alice.

We are not fans of 'Ohana at all. Breakfast or dinner.

I started out by having a breakfast ADR for Ohana, but changed my ADR to 1900 PF because I kept reading more and more bad reviews on Ohana's breakfast. I'm really excited for 1900 PF because I love the GF and it's my niece's first trip. We have an 8:40 pm at Ohana that I'm actually trying to change because it's too late for us.

We did not care for our 'Ohana breakfast. The food was terrible, character interactions very rushed, and just not a great experience overall. We have a 1900 PF breakfast booked for our next trip and I'm very excited to try it! We really enjoyed our dinner there last trip and the breakfast reviews I've seen have been good.

The food at 1900 Park Fare at breakfast is about 900 times better than Ohana.

Conversely, the food at Ohana’s dinner is far, far above what is served at 1900 PF.

Either way, the characters at 1900 PF are great. In the morning, it’s Pooh, Tigger, red dress Mary Poppins, Alice and the Mad Hatter. They are all great and the MH is really unique. He’s a riot!

At dinner, you get Cindy and her family plus her prince. Cindy’s step-mom and step-sisters are hysterical.

1900 Park Fare is a very enjoyable experience. We loved the food and the character interaction. We'll be there again eating lots of their bread pudding for breakfast (!) in 10 days time

We much preferred 1900 Park Fare as it was a buffet. I'm not a massive fan of family style meals as I'm an odd eater and like to pick from whats on offer and not wait for the plate to be refilled!!

The two restaurants don't really compare food wise, as Ohana is served family style and 1900 is a buffet.

I enjoy the characters better at 1900. Never had a bad experience there. We go every trip.

I'm glad to hear this. We did 'Ohana breakfast last time and it was terrible, so we're trying dinner this time because I've heard it's better. We also did PF dinner last time and are it for breakfast instead this trip. Hoping for some good experiences!

@22Tink I hated the food at Ohana’s breakfast. It was like they scooped up a bunch of stuff from an All Stars food court breakfast and threw it in a pan.

They serve powdered eggs at Ohana. Yuck! 1900 Park Fare has an omelette station where the chef makes you fresh eggs to order. That alone makes it 400 times better than Ohana.

I personally don’t like eggs but I know DH will love having the omelette station.

I've been going back and forth between breakfast at 1900 Park Fare and 'Ohana, as we have both booked currently. I loved the Ohana dinner during our last trip (potstickers!), but the breakfast menu just looks....meh. I've never eaten there for breakfast but it just doesn't look exciting. I'm not a huge breakfast person and hate scrambled eggs, so when I do eat breakfast I enjoy different items.
However, I *loved* the breakfast at 1900 PF last time. So much so that I found the recipe online for strawberry soup and make it at home quite a bit lol

I don’t understand why you’re still debating between the two then. Seems like you would much rather go to PF. Is there anything that appeals to you at ohana for breakfast?

Since Stitch no longer wanders around table to table Ohana is off our breakfast list. 1900 is a lot of fun the Mad Hatter alone makes the breakfast worth doing.

I have read he is outside now as well.

Headed there for Friday breakfast in 3 weeks....I'll let you know! Been there for dinner a few years ago....food was okay but the character interaction was GREAT!
