1900 Park Fare breakfast questions??

My DD and I went to Park Fare for dinner in March. This Sept. we are all (3 DS's, 1 DD, and DH) going back to DW. I was thinking of doing breakfast so they could see Alice and Mad Hatter. Are they always there and how is the food? I thought dinner was pretty good for a buffet and I am hoping breakfast would be good as well. Is this a good choice for my DS's ages 11,9, and 8. Thanks so much!!

My 3 DD's loved 1900 PF breakfast!

The characters are really sweet here....Alice in Wonderland is cheerful, Mary Poppins speaks with an accent and is very proper, and of course Tigger and Pooh are so darn friendly! My middle daughter was terrified of the Mad Hatter so he discreetly waved and passed by our table!

We enjoy the food here at this buffet too. My DH had some kind of lobster eggs benedict I think. There's an omlet station, Mickey waffles, eggs, sausage, bacon, bread, strawberry soup (love this!) and more. It's one of our must do's every trip!

The regular characters for breakfast are Mary Poppins, Alice, Mad Hatter, Pooh, and Tigger. With all character meals, the characters are "subject to change," but barring something unforeseen, you can plan on those five.

We had breakfast there in August and were pleased with our meals. I think your kids will like it. Both Alice and the Mad Hatter are funny, so if you have boys who like to joke around, they can have some fun with them.

This was always one of our family favorites growing up and continues to be a must do breakfast on nearly every trip! The Mad Hatter usually has me rolling with laughter by the time he leaves our table! Last year I took my 65 year old Nama with my mom and I for the food and wine festival and she STILL talks about this breakfast. She loved how "in character" Mary Poppins was and her and the Mad Hatter had a spot of tea together. It was one of her first interactions with the characters and her eyes lit up like any child's eyes do during their first DW visit! As far as the food...my brother (who is now 24) mentions atleast once a month that he could eat the cheesy eggs from 1900 Park Fare everyday for the rest of his life. As kids we also loved the fact that you could get M&Ms off of the breakfast buffett!!!! I LOVE this breakfast and can't recommend it highly enough!!! Have a wonderful trip to the world!

We were there once and had a late breakfast ressie...the food was blech and the characters were not able to make it to our table because we were wedged in tight between two other huge tables..The Mad Hatter was sooooo annoying you could here him clear across the restaurant.

I would not mind trying it again but earlier but DH is not having it

We ate there this March for breakfast & dinner.

While they were different experiences with different characters, we enjoyed each one!

The food was great for breakfast with many choices including cereal. The characters were great. We did CP earlier in the trip and missed Tigger. The Tigger at 1900 was awesome. He was bouncing around the room, doing pushups, and just a lot of fun!

Thanks for all the responses. I think that after seeing the video it is settled. My DS's and DH are big jokers and they love the mad hatter. They will LOVE it. I think DD might be a little nervous but still talks about not seeing Alice on her last trip.

We usually like to hit parks at rope drop, do a couple of big rides, then breakfast around 9:30. Will this be an okay time or should we do it earlier.
Now to wait until June 27th to make ressie!!

I think that depends on what time the park opens. If MK was opening at 9 I would try to do breakfast at 1900 for 8-8:30. That way you can hop on the monorail and be in the park 915-930. If the park opens earlier like 8... I would be at the park for rope drop, hit all the big rides, then head over to 1900 for a 930-945 breakfast. This is just my opinion. It seems like you have plenty of time to figure it out though!!!

Park Fare is our favorite breakfast buffet. I think the food is wonderful. The Mad Hatter can be a little loud, but he is funny. We try and get the first reservation of the day, this way you don't have to wait to get in.
