Just got a last minute ADR here for our trip next week. Is this a good choice? How is the character interaction and what characters were there when you went?

We were there in October and when I asked my DH what ADR's he wanted for this trip he said he didn't care where we ate as long as we had breakfast at 1900 Park Fare and Boma.

It was Alice In Wonderland, the Mad Hatter, Pooh, Tigger and Mary Poppins when we went. We had a great time!

Went for a late breakfast 10:30 and it was so loud I thought we were going to lose our minds, the food was terrible...dried out and not replenished, only one egg station open with a huge line, the tables are so tight together that the characters could not make their way to us so they just waved (we are just 2 adults so I guess they thought that was ok).

DH didnt like it so much that he refuses to try the dinner.....way too noisy

We had breakfast here this past February and loved it! The food was plentiful and hot. We all (including my 3 DD's) made numerous trips to the buffet! :goodvibes The characters were a lot of fun, they came to each table and the meal didn't feel rushed at all. My girls have requested that we eat there again when we go back November! :goodvibes

We had an 8 am ADR this past April. I think the earlier you can get there the better. The food was so yummy and the characters a lot of fun, especially the Mad Hatter. I highly recommend it!

P.S. There is a long review in my trip report if you want to read about it.

We did the breakfast years ago and I loved it.
At that time they put out this vanilla sauce )that I had years and years ago at Tangora Terrace) that you could put on your Mickey Waffles. That's the best. It's the only place I think I've seen it on the breakfast buffet in Disney anymore.

We didn't get to go last trip, but I'm hoping to go on the next one.

Hi we was wondering whether to eat there or in the GF cafe, what do you think?
Thanks:yay:

I was there in dec. and it was great my youngest share his breakfast with pooh and i was amazed at how they acted with him. They even spent more time with the smaller ones .Loved the Mad hatter he was to much :) but as far as interaction with kids its great they spend time with the children and give the smaller ones a little more attion then what you would think even when they can go take there break they finish what they are doing and do not rush it was great im going back there for breakfast when i go back in december :) Hope this helped

we had a great time and actually booked because mary poppins was there. i called and asked for the latest adr available, i think it was around 10.30. the food was really good, and we left there so full no one wanted to eat again until dinner. all of the characters came around, and of course, as soon as my dd decided she needed to go to go to the bathroom, once we left mary poppins came over. my sister asked her to make another visit and she did.
here's my pics.

We (including DS 6 & Niece 7) ate there in June 07 and loved it.

We had a 8:00 am ADR lots of people celebrating special occasions and very good character interaction. We saw all the characters more than once. Lots of fun and the food wasn't bad either.

This was our first character meal so the kids were very excited and ate very little though.

I loved eating at 1900 Park Fare. The food was very good the last time I went and I got a lot of character interaction. The Mad Hatter even sat down at my table and talked to me for a good 10 minutes or so about how Mary Poppins was way too cheerful for him and was trying to trick him to go on a jolly holiday! :rotfl2: One of the best places I know of for character interaction if you go when they aren't too busy.

My family loved the food AND the character interaction.....and we were one of the last ADRs of the morning....I believe we had a 10:30 time.

Here are some photos....

My sons thought they were too "old" for Mary Poppins but she told them to get over to take a photo "spit spot".....they couldnt help but smile...
