We called for an ADR and asked for a buffet breakfast for Sept 19. She suggested 1900 Park Fare, I thought the buffet sounded delicious and I always wanted to see the Grand Floridian. Now I am so upset that it is pre-plated. We are big eaters and this will be our last sit down there. The french toast does still sound delicious and AllEars says that some of the pre-plated you just have to ask for more. Will they give you 2nds? Are there any other buffet breakfasts with similar food?

We did CRT last Spetember and it was pre-plated. All youhave to do is ask the server for anthing you would like, from everything on a second plate to just specific items (like french toast), and they wil bring it for you (including patries, drinks, juice, etc). My girls (twin DD4) each had a second plate at CRT. I am sure it is the same policy at any preplated meal at WDW.

Make note that 1900 park fare is closed and all character meals are being done in the Grand Floridian Cafe (thus being preplated). We are going from 9/9 to 9/15 and are doing the Dinner there on 9/10. If I have time when I get back I will try to post a review (possibly with pictures).

We will be there for breakfast on Sept. 19th also! I was just looking at what some of the people were saying about it during the refurbishment. I hope it will be good!

We'll be there also for dinner on the 10th--I have twin daughters too who are 5 years old! I believe our ADR's are for right around 4:30.

We have always asked for seconds on certain things at Cinderella's Royal Table pre-plated breakfasts ...... I would assume it would be the same thing here. They are always more than happy to bring you more of what you want.

There is Cape May Cafe at the Beach club that looks similar. I have not been there but I am going to try it in January. I have heard good things about it. There is also Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary. It was pretty good, and they did have a large variety of food. Hopefully you will be able to go back sometime in the future, 1900 Park Fare is one of my favorite buffets. I don't think the pre-plated option would give me that Park Fare feeling. Go to allears site and check out the different menu's, it will help you decide.:)

Maybe we will see you there. If you see a balding dad hanging out with two kids who don't look like twins (one is much taller than the other), a redheaded wife and a blond headed little boy say, "Hello!". Our ADR i sfor 5:35pm.

Instead of going to any other site to view menus, check out http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/diningmain.cfm - wdwinfo.com being the home site of the DISboards! All the menus are right here, and many of them were just updated in August (and if you don't see one, or the one you're looking at/for is 'old', just use the e-mail link at the bottom of the menu page and wdwinfo webmasters will update the menu as soon as they can!
