So I think we will be going here on our break day. I'm just trying to decide when to go. Should I book a really late breakfast - 11:00am or an early dinner? I've read the characters are different from breakfast to dinner. I don't think that is a deal breaker either way for us.
So what do you think? Which should I choose?

We went there for Breakfast,it was ok. My DS did not care to much for the chacters,it was themm with mostly grils and at that time grils was yuck:rotfl:. See kind of tight space In there to, so that my be something to think about to. Would like to know how Dinners are to:confused3, since we never been there for that.

Character meals are usually better at breakfast... Here is no different, but...

Breakfast here is Alice, the Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins and the other characters may vary but probably will be Pooh and Tigger. Dinner is Cinderella, the Prince, the Stepmother and Drizella and Anastasia. The sisters are a hoot and can make the whole dinner. Fun!

Whichever you decide is good!

We find that generally with character meals, breakfasts are pretty standard at all of them and other meals can be real hit or miss. With that in mind we usually stick to character breakfasts since it is pretty hard to mess up breakfast food. 1900 PF puts out a decent breakfast spread. We are big fans of heading to MK for RD with the last breakfast ADR at 1900 PF. The ADR is usually at around 11:20 AM. We can get a lot done from the time of RD to the time we have to leave for the ADR. Try to grab a FP or 2 on your way to your ADR. On our last visit we were one of the last 5 or so tables to leave and Alice and the Madhatter hung around and really put on a show for us. It was great.

We've done both and we all much rather prefer dinner. I just love the step sisters and stepmother. They definitely put a whole different feel in the air. There were a few things that stood out breakfast wise, but I honestly like the characters at dinner better.

I would choose breakfast. We do not care for 1900 Park Fair in general, but we expecially dislike dinner there. Yes, it is true, the characters at dinner are an absolute hoot! But, the food is just not all that. It has a golden coral kind of taste to it. To see Cinderella, try CRT or Akerhaus. Also, Crystal Palace dinner food is out of this world!

Since I love Mary Poppins, breakfast is my favorite. However, the two step-sisters hitting on my brother on our last trip was a scream! My husband really likes 1900 at breakfast--he loved their buffet and we enjoyed the interaction between Tigger and the Mad Hatter. The Mad Hatter also called Mary Poppins a witch. He was extremely entertaining.

We did both last year and liked the breakfast food better than the dinner food (be sure to try the cold strawberry soup!) but the dinner characters. On a non-park day sleeping in and having a late buffet breakfast = brunch sounds like a wonderful idea. Then you can leave the rest of the day totally unstructured, grabbing dinner whenever/wherever the mood strikes.

Characters in the morning tend to be from Mary Poppins, Alice, and/or Winnie the Pooh. Lots of warm fuzzies and photo ops but no real "conversations". Dinner characters are Cindy, her Prince, and the Steps. The Steps are a real hoot and will definitely chat with you, and are marvelously in character.
