OKay, if we are planning on doing PSB at Akershus, do we need to do 1900 Park Fare? My DD loves Cinderella but it sounds like she is at Akershus quite frequently.

I have heard that the step-sisters are a riot- are they alone worth going to 1900 Park Fare? I hate to use a TS credit to see Cinderella if we'll see her at PSB.

Thanks!!

Hi,
We returned home on Sept 5...If you were going to scrap one I would forget the Epcot one. If you could do both do, but don't miss the Grand Floridian. The 1900 Park Fare is awesome. The step sisters are great, Cinderella is very attentive, Wicked Stepmother is very severe but Prince Charming is worth the trip!!! My daughter has mentioned him kissing her hand every single day since we went there. While we were there they had a quartet playing upstairs and a pianist downstairs my daughter loved it. There also is a bath store that everyone loved.

Yep, if I had to scrap one it would be Akershus. We have done a breakfast and a lunch there and haven't seen Cinderella at either.

However, I would not miss 1900 Park Fare. Just like masterd said, the character interaction is really great. The step-sisters are hilarious, and Prince Charming is so much fun for little girls. Last year, Lady Tremaine scowled at my daughter when we were seated. My daughter smiled enthusiastically and waved at her, which confused Lady Tremaine. I told her my daughter had aspirations to be mean and nasty, just like her. She doted on my daughter the rest of the time we were there, in a mean and condescending way mind you. It was a riot!

Priceless!

I'm the opposite and so is my 3 year old. We would both pick Akershus over 1900 Park Fare any day. In fact, my 3 year old is not even asking to go back to 1900 Park Fare on our next trip and she LOVES the stepsisters. Akershus is at the top of her list.

Unless they have changed it, the Stepmother and Stepsisters have a meet and greet by the castle at MK between Belle's story time shows. We found that to be much more fun than 1900 Park Fare because they are all standing together and playing off each other the whole time. At Park Fare they can get really spread out so they may not interact with each other that much which is what is hilarious. When we were at Park Fare, we didn't get to see them interact very much at all (I've heard others have been lucky enough to see a lot of interaction). Also, I think maybe at Park Fare the stepsisters toned it down with DD because she was only 3 and they didn't want to scare her...little did they know. At MK, they knew she was a big fan and waiting 1st in line to see them, so they really hammed it up and put on quite a show for her.

Prince Charming at Park Fare was a big plus though. That's pretty much the only place you will get to meet him and take pictures. We did see Cinderella at Akershus lunch too.

The meals and characters are different enough that doing both would be fun. If you are only going to do 1- I would pick Akershus and then go see the Stepmother and Stepsisters at MK. Whichever you chose, I would agree that you need to catch the stepmother and stepsisters somewhere, they are some of our absolute favorites at WDW.

We did both on our first WDW trip when DD was 5 and she loved both. We did Azkerhaus for breakfast and 1900 Park Faire for dinner a different day. This year we are doing 1900 Park Faire and CRT. As far as DD (now 8) is concerned, you can never see too many princesses or eat at too many buffets.

We're doing both on our upcoming trip. Both of my DDs are Cinderella freaks, but they like the other princesses as well. I think the two experiences will be different enough that they will enjoy both.

We are doing both; my 3 year old grand daughter loves the princesses! 2 days to go!

Hi! We just got home 9/14 and we did drop Akershaus, paid the $10/person late cancel fee and kept 1900. Our bill would have been $90 for dinner (free dining) at 1900 and worth every penny. My ODD danced with the prince and kissed her hand. She is still taking about that! LOL Keep it you will not regret it.

100% 1900 Park Fare fans for life!! :lovestruc

We are doing both this trip. We have never eaten at 1900 Park Fare and heard the character interaction is amazing so we are eating here on our arrival night. We also have ADRs for Akershus for breakfast because that is our Disney Tradition. We love everything about that breakfast. When we are there we have never seen Cinderella, I have heard she is more at the either the lunch or dinner but we have always seen Belle in her yellow dress taking pictures before you get seated, then at the table we see Mulan, Jasmine, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty (but that doesn't mean that Cinderella won't be there for breakfast :confused3). All the princesses are great, they spend a lot of time with both our DDs.

We're also doing both. I couldn't get a res for CRT, and my DD is a BIG Cinderella fan. If I got that res, I wouldn't have gone to any but that (since most of the princesses are there) .. I know there is a chance of Cinderella being at Akershus (the first ADR I made) but I didn't want to risk it, so we're going to Park Fare on our arrival night. I have to admit, I'm looking forward to seeing the stepsisters
