Hi, 11:30am is the time we have booked an adr. The hours listed show breakfast is until 11:50am. So 20 minutes? I would figure an hour to eat and see all the characters. Does this mean we could have an hour, or are we going to be expected to eat fast and get out?

i am excited over this time now! Before i had a 10am which i felt was wasting time in the morning, hanging around waiting for the adr, then being noon before we get done and ready for the pool, but then this 11:45am became available... so we can get up, go to the pool for a couple hours, then go for a lunch break.. my favorite kind of lunch!

I got this exact time to for the 1900 faire restaurant. i intend to be a sleep in day, late breakfast at GF 1900, then to Epcot for afternoon, etc.

We have had this time ADR at 1900 a few times. We have always enjoyed it as a late morning brunch break on a MK day. Even if you are the last table there, they will still be bringing out fresh food for the buffet. We have never felt rushed to leave and have had some of the best character interactions with this time ADR.

We had one of the last ADRs there a couple of years ago. It was great! By halfway through our meal the restaurant had really started clearing out and the characters could spend a lot more time with each table. There was definitely still plenty of food right to the end.

here is what actually happened... the characters came by, then they asked us if we saw them all.. then they left. we did not get repeat visits and they left.. gone.. and then they asked us if we were going to get more food.. so we did feel rushed. they asked again if we were done. i thought that was not nice, we just got there a few minutes before and had gone to the food one trip at the time they asked if we were finished going to the buffet, and at that time the characters were already gone. Then the bill for $82 came for 2 adults and 1 child. We enjoyed Cape May Buffet much more. The characters came by more than once, except for Goofy who just waved his hand over when the CM following him asked Goofy about our table, like "oh forget them," but Goofy did a great interaction with our kids so it only slightly bothers me that he couldn't say hi again, even just to say hi for a second.. the kids were all excited and he just made that arm gesture and went back to the next table.. who did see him already. Minnie and Donald were great. Food was ok at both places. My favorite, the Lobster Eggs Benedict at 1900 now just say Eggs Benedict and there were runny whites so i didn't eat it. The second time i got them, the whites were not runny.

Did anyone else experience similar issues? Or was this an "off" day? I hate to spend the extra money on a character meal and only see the characters wave hi/goodbye or just flash by. Plus, I don't want to be rushed out the door because the staff is coming off shift. I would prefer to try 1900 PF over Chef Mickey's since the kids have met Mickey & Co. in a character meal at AUL. Thanks.

this was a Sunday, during the week they have kids tea party soon after lunch ends

In January on a Sunday (during the marathon weekend) we had an 11:20 ADR which we got there a few minutes early (2 adults) & were seated. We had a great experience except the Mad Hatter wasn't there that day (boo). Characters came by at least twice to make sure nobody was missed (we did just pictures quickly with each). The food was available as much as we wanted & they made more of whatever was already gone (I asked for scrambled eggs). Yes they did start cleaning up empty tables & areas, but we never felt rushed. Probably was there a good 45 minutes to hour.

I'm sorry you had that experience. I've eaten there twice & enjoyed it each time.

I have the same plan for a Sunday as well yet we are starting at MK. does anyone know how long it takes to get there and what time we should leave MK?

We did a few rides at MK before our 11:20 ADR. I think we started walking to the front of the park about 10:15? We were going to monorail, but ended up taking one of the boat shuttles over instead.

Ok'1 I figured wed leave around 10:45 for a 11:35....I hope things run smoothly!
