1900 Park Faire dinner big mistake

The menu online is from before the change... Do they still have the prime rib?

Yes, they do. As in any Prime Rib, it is served the way it was cooked. When we had, it was a little to rare for us. We are typically medium rare type of people when we have the choice. We like it when the meat is pink in about 80% of the meat.
When we had it when we went, it was very rare. The red juice went all over everything on our plate. But like I said, prime rib is served how the entire porion of meat was cooked. Some, may like it that way. It just breathed a little bit to much for us. :)

Since it is a new menu can someone let us know what were the soups/appetizers/salads, main courses as well as desserts? TIA

We have ADRs for our Christmas Day dinner... I've heard a lot of mixed reviews concerning 1900 Park Fare. Honestly, the only reason we're going is because we want to eat at a GF restaurant AND because our very special DC wants to see Cinderella & the Prince. We don't have high expectations for the food, but we will be VERY disappointed if Cindy & her Prince don't show up! If it was up to me, we'd be doing Citricos or Narcoossees, but picky DD won't eat anything on their menus.

I am sad to hear of all the changes at 1900. It holds a special place in our hearts as my daughter just melted when she got to hug the most beautiful Cinderella I have ever seen at Disney there. She was lovely and made each child feel so special. We will be back in November and I am hoping for another wonderful memory. I just hope the step mom and sisters aren't too scary for kids. Has the restaurant itself gotten a face lift as well? Well I willl hope for the best!

I'm afraid I also have to add another negative review for 1900 Park Fair. I almost cancelled after reading some of the reviews but decided to give it a try, as I'm pretty open-minded and laid back when it comes to dining options. I also thought it would be a great start to our vacation and was looking forward to enjoying the ambience of the GF. BIG MISTAKE! It was a miserable experience and the food was terrible.

First the ambience was really disappointing. I thought the restaurant looked like a glorified cafeteria and the acoustics were deafening. Even my nieces (age 7 and 12) were overwhelmed by the noise and chaos.

The food was an even bigger disappoinment. I understand it's just a buffet, but for the money spent it was ridiculously bad. The prime rib was so rare, I (and several other guests) asked them to put it on the skillet and cook it longer. When the chef put it on my plate... blood still ran all over my other food, to the point where I had to get a new plate. The other food options were limited and not very appetizing... although the strawberry soup was good.

The characters ,especially the Stepsisters, were entertaining but not worth sitting through a terrible, overpriced meal. (We also were able to see the Stepsisters often in the Magic Kingdom.)

I feel bad complaining, but I feel others should know what to expect... and of course, everyone's opinion differs. But for our entire family, it was such a bad experience, we ended up cancelling our lunch at Princess Storytellers in Norway. We did however enjoy the Ohana's character breakfast on our last morning.

Oh no! We have done CGF twice in the last 4 years, and loved it both times. In fact, we are considering a trip next year, and my sister's kids have already requested we have dinner there again. Both of our previous dinners were outstanding, both the food and the character interaction. And that is an awful lot of money to spend on dinner if you are not sure the food will be edible. Hopefully this is just a kink they need to work out after reopening. Surely if enough people complain, they will fix it.

We dined at 1900 Park Fare the first week it opened back up. We were very disappointed with the limited selection of food. The strawberry soup and the dessert bar were very good though. The only reason would go back is for the characters. The interaction was fantastic! The step-sisters were a hoot!

when we went last summer i was not influenced one bit at this restraunt...there were no selections to chose from....and the bill was 480.00 for 6 adults 3 children for not much food to chose at the dinner buffet....we said we would skip this one next vacations....

Your numbers don't add up right. You must have had A LOT to drink!

I'm sorry to hear so many bad experiences....we might forego this restaurant on our next trip.
