I made an ADR at 1900 Park Fair and am thinking of changing it. I had to make a number of flip flops on our touring plans for DDP and ended trying for 1900.
What is great about it? Curious!

Terrible food for breakfast and dinner, super loud atmosphere and horrible service....this is one place the we will not go back to, second to H&V

we went in 2004 and I loved it. Food was Great upscaled a little buffett. Characters were great came by tables for photos and signing autograph books. Very nice . Staff was great . I would go for a family of 4 we paid $100 with tip

We loved Dinner here. The strawberry soup is so good.

Haven't been there in a number of years, but last time we had breakfast there I thought it was the best breakfast buffet on property.:earsboy:

I've had breakfast here twice adn loved it both times.
Dinner once, we LOVED the characters- but the food was just alright.

You're OK as long as you are going for the characters and not the food. The food was terrible on my first try, but better on my second. We went back because DD wanted to be there for her 7th birthday:

Cindy sang happy birthday :). We did pay extra for the cake.

We were going for the food not the characters.... ugh. I think I may change these ressies:headache:

loved the characters for both meals.... bfst food was much better than dinner IMHO

We went for dinner and loved it. The food was great and the character interaction was the best. The step sisters were a scream!

1900 Park Fare used to be the BEST buffet-years ago. It's been going steadily down hill for the last couple of years. We went last year for dinner and our party of 10-ALL said never again! The food was not good. We care more about the food than characters also-the character interaction was good.

Can someone tell me if this buffet is better than the dinner food at Akershus. I made reservations at Akershus but now realize this isnt a buffet and it seems like only one thing i like from the menu. Should i change my reservation???

We went there for the first time in December and we really enjoyed it. We thought the food was very good and had a nice selection for the little ones (which some don't). I have 2 boys and weren't sure if they would enjoy the characters but they did. Cinderella even picked them to dance with.

In regards to food, like I said, we really enjoyed it...it was much better than Beach Club Cape May Buffett. We liked it so much that we are going back there on our first night back to Disney this July. Cant wait.

We have had breakfast and dinner there and both times the food was great. We also were there for a ressie at opening, so that might make a difference. the character interaction is some of the best. I am not a huge fan of Disney Dinners and for me to say 1900 PF dinner was great is saying ALOT. At first I was not happy about wasting a TS for dinner, but afterwards, I was happy that I did.

In fact, we loved breakfast so much Dh is taking me there on June 8 for my birthday breakfast.

I would stick with Akershus. I went there in January for dinner and LOVED it. I wasn't sure about the food either, but my dd really wanted to see the princessess. The cold buffet is great! I got the first thing listed on the menu...can't pronounce it but it was really tasty.

I do NOT like 1900. I've gone for breakfast and for dinner. Both times were loud. I have a 2 year old and I teach Kindergarten so noise doesn't usually bother me. However, it is extremely loud in there. When we went in Jan. for breakfast the CM that we checked in with told us that we would be seated in a few minutes. I asked her where I needed to put the stroller. She told me where the stroller parking was. As I was pushing the stroller outside, with my DD in it who had not said ONE WORD, the CM told me to "Keep her contained until we are ready to seat you". I have never been more upset while at Disney. I couldn't believe that she said that! Contained?? I didn't have a ferret or hamster with me, it was my daughter. Anyway, both times I felt like I didn't belong there...really "snooty" atmosphere. We won't be going back.

We love the food here. We've eaten for dinner Jan and May of '08 and just 2 weeks ago on May 14 for dinner again. The characters are great and the food is very good. We were not disappointed. The service here is great too. They are very attentive. In fact this was the only table service meal that gave me an unexpected birthday treat, a yummy cupcake!

We have an ADR to eat here for breakfast in August for the change in character and are looking forward to it.

I just wanted to add that the service was also good and never had a problem. I didn't think it was loud at all and I been there peak time July 4th. Definitely not a "snotty" place.

glad to see all these reviews of 1900 park fare. thanks! i was thinking about eating breakfast here on my next trip .. but i think i will pass and stick with chef mickeys :goodvibes
