No, for 1900 Park Fare for dinner, you do not have to pay in full. Only ones you have to pay in full are Cinderella's Royal Table and the "show dinners".

As for getting the ressie, there's only one way to find out. Call 'em up and see!

I called last week for the Princess breakfast at Norway, and they were going to charge my card for the whole thing up front. I could get a refund up to 48 hours before the ress. They were going to charge ten bucks each for a no show.
I'll start dialing!

I made ressies for the Akershush dinner and they never charged my CC. I wonder if because you're a larger party it's different. I've never made a ressie for 11, so I can't tell you for sure.

I made reservations for CRT for dinner this August and they do not charge your card..they will if you do not show up..you give them a credit card as a guarantee to some signature restaurants and dinner shows..but they do not charge it! I am on the deluxe dining plan and will use my credits. CRT, HDDR, California grill are just a few that requires a CC guarantee...if you cancel within 48 prior to your ADR they will not charge you.

Even with a party of 11, they will not charge your card.

I called and got a ressie for 11 at 1900 for dinner. They didn't need a cc. Last week I called to make an adr for Norway breakfast two res's table for 5 and table for 6. They wanted my cc number. I asked, will you be charging my card today? The answer was yes. I thought there must've been some sort of policy change. I knew they charged you 10 each if you were a no show. There you go.....
Any one else have this experience?

I doubt they charged your cc. Did you check your account to see? They do reserve it w/your CC and they will charge you if you don't cancel it and are a no show. They do this w/Fantasmic too.

HDDR they DO charge when you make the ressie.

With the new price for Akershus (the picture pacakge) they may also be following CRT's credit card policies.

If so, you will need to pre-pay unless you are on the dining plan, in which case your card is just a guarantee in the event of a no-show.

That is not true..I made a ADR for The Hoop Dee Doo Review for this August and gave them a CC as a guarantee..I am on the meal plan and they said no problem...

Thanks for the replies! From all this I gather: If you are not on the DDP They will charge you the whole thing up front? That must be it. There was a photo package, and a wand/sword for each kid.
I did not make the res at Norway so I don't know if they would have charged it like they said they would.

I have an ADR for CRT in August for breakfast. They did charge my credit card already. It was on my latest statement that I received last week. It came to $107.43. I'm going to be on the dining plan also, but decided to pay OOP for this breakfast, rather than use 2 of my credits. I also gave my credit card for the Fantasmic package for Mama Melroses, and they did not charge my credit card. They wouldl charge me for this at the time of the dinner. I will be using the dining plan, so actually they won't charge me for it.

We are on the DP in September. I booked more meals than I have alloted. I have not decided what to pay for out of pocket yet. I only had to guarentee Norway and CRT.
