I have reservations for 1900 Park Fair for dinner. I'm taking my daughter (6) to Bippity Boppity Bootique before dinner. Is it true a lot of the little girls dress up as Cinderella for this dinner?

If my daughter is dress as Cinderella, do the rest of us have to be dressy? I'm trying to avoid bringing any fancy clothes, so will shorts and a golf shirt suffice for my husband? Maybe capris and a blouse for me?

Thanks!

I wouldn't think that you would have to dress up just because your daughter is all dolled up! So many times at WDW you see the little girls all decked out as little princesses and she wouldn't look out of place at all if you decided to go more casual. I have worn shorts and a t-shirt at 1900 Park Fare and have felt comfortable but have also worn a dress and high heels and didn't feel out of place either. I think you will be more than comfortable wearing capris and a blouse and your husband in shorts and a golf shirt and will not feel like you are overdressed or underdressed.

By the way, 1900 Park Fare is one of our favorite places...we never miss a chance to eat there. Go with empty stomachs as there is so much food I always leave wishing I could have eaten more! :goodvibes

She will be fine. The Fairy God mother will make a fuss about how cute she will look. Cinderella will love a look a like. Prince Charming may want a small dance with her. Bring your video cam and camera. Both will be needed to capture the moments. Cell phone ? -> to transmit a picture to a special Aunt or Grandma ? Enjoy every moment :goodvibes

You can wear what ever you would like. No dress code - other than appropriate attire - must have something on your feet, no bathing suits, no personal parts of your body being displayed. T-shirts, shorts, capri's, skorts, sandels, sneakers, are all a go.

We've eaten dinner at 1900 Park Fare several times this year. We've always seen many little girls dressed up in their princess gowns, but the rest of us (the parents of the little girls, & other families w/o the little girls) just wear casual clothes. In May, my family all wore our matching Disney t-shirts & black shorts. We looked fine.

So no, you don't need to dress up just because your DD is in a princess gown.
You will have so much fun!! I'm jealous!!

BTW....Prince Charming is adorable!! My DD11 was in love!
