1900 Park Fair Character Dining, Yes or No???

We have done both and they were great! The food is really good maybe a little more upscale than some of the others we have been to. Your ds may prefer the characters at breakfast. We were there in May did dinner and breakfast the characters were:
breakfast
Mary Poppins
Alice
Pooh
Tigger
Mad Hatter
Meg from Hercules

Dinner
Fairy Godmother
Cinderella
Prince Charming
Suzy
Perla

My dd is in love with Prince Charming so we eat here every visit!

Love the dinner--best buffet food on property after Boma imho. Nice atmosphere, good character interaction and good good food! Enjoy!

We took my DS to the 1900 Park Fare for a special birthday dinner last summer (for his 8th Bday). It was wonderful!! DS wasn't really into the characters - which were hysterical with him. The mice wouldn't leave him alone :rotfl: We all loved the food. We have dined at other character buffet meals and the food here is a notch better than the others. I also would say that it was a better experience overall than CRT for breakfast. So much more relaxing and you get LOTS of times with the characters. I also saw a magic moment with the FGM. We had a bit later seating and she spent a great deal of time with a child around 10 years old. It was so sweet seeing her really talking to this child. Also, Prince Charming treated every little girl there as a princess.

My DS has requested that we visit this restaurant for his birthday celebration again this year. I went through a list of several restaurants and he hasn't wavered in his wish to go back to this dinner. (We also like to take a spin on the resort monorail before (or after) dinner, and check out the GF while we are there.)

Oh - I wouldn't hesitate to go here if it was just 2 adults. Disney does a great job making everyone feel welcome. And you just may see some magic happen between the kids/characters that are there. It really warmed my heart.

I have never been to 1900 Park Fare, but my DH has and he swears by it. We are planning on making a PS for breakfast when we go down in October. He says that it is one of the nicest breakfast buffets he has ever been to (he has Crystal Palace and CRT to compare it to). Friends of ours will be arriving the days before we leave, so we are all going to meet up on 10/29 for breakfast at 1900 Park Fare.
