1900 opinions???

1900 Opinions? How would you rate the 1900 restaurant??

On a scale of 1-10, about a 6. We ate there last year and we really didn't like it. The food was just OK and the characters were so disorganized. Try telling a character she came by twice already while trying to hide it from your 2 small kids! The one mouse kept coming back to us like it was her first time and DD was starting to question why. At other character dinners they had CM's telling the characters where to go and there were no mix ups. Here it was very busy, our server wasn't very good either. She kept disappearing! We needed more drinks and it took awhile to find her. At other places we have never had to do that. It was also very crowded when we went. We feel like we did it once for DD and won't do it again.

The Grand Floridian decor was absolutely beautiful,I was not that thrilled with the meal and the character interaction with my girls really was no more than a minute or two and it really was not one of our favorit CM's( and we did many ).

We had a very good experience. My DD loved the charecters (although Prince Charming was 'sick' that day) and my parents and I loved the food. In fact for our next trip my parents specifically requested that we go back there because they enjoyed it so much. So we had a very good experience and are planning to go back there in August.

i have heard more positive than negative. plus its a good alternate to dining at the castle, which is more than twice the price! (and 2 TS on the dining plan!) We are going to do this on our arrival day at the world. (lots do chef mickey, but thats how we start our first official morning in florida) We land at 2pm, and this is going to be a great experience to kick off our holidays. :O)

We just returned from WDW last night and had our last dinner of the trip at 1900 on 5/10. We thought it was pretty good. Snow White was in the lobby. Cinderella and Prince Charming each came by once and we had good interaction. The 2 mice, Suzy and Perla, were a little more confusing. Each came by twice and did not follow the same direction as we were told they would. They both caught us by surprise on their second stop, not that my 4 year-old niece minded. We thought the food was fine and a notch above Crystal Palace. They had a pasta station where the chef would make your pasta to order, a carving station with turkey and prime rib. The rest was the usual fare: salads, breads, a few different veggies, salmon, cold pasta salad, etc. The dessert bar was good: ice cream (soft serve), mini cheesecakes, bananas foster, bread pudding (similar to O'Hana), fresh strawberries, cookies, and brownies. Our server was very good and kept our drinks filled. we would definitely do this meal again.

We enjoy 1900 at GF. The food was really good and we felt there was good character interaction. I think Belle and the Beast were in the hallway greeting guest. one of our most magical memories happened here with Cinderella. My DS who had just turned 4 when we were there just loved Cinderella and couldn't wait to meet here. She came up to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek and spent quite a bit of time talking to him. Then prince Charming came up behind my son and cinderella and acted like he was jealous of my son. It was so cute. We have the best picture of my son blushing and a look of wonder on his face as Cinderella kissed his cheek! When we left 1900 my son told me he was going to marry Cinderella! Now, a year later he says, "gross, I don't like a princess"!
