Hi all,

What is going on with the 1900 loop. This is our first time in this loop and we were so disapointed. The sites were narrow and we had a huge ditch on both sides. In addition the bathrooms are not remodeled. FW needs to update this area.

I agree that is one loop I will not stay in. They tried to put us in there our last trip and I said no anywhere else is fine.

Our nick name for that loop is "Neptune Gulch", we had site 1911 for our first trip with the new longer trailer, we arrived after dark and had a heck of a time getting in the site and the also had the drop off on the patio side. There is one site opposite of the comfort station that looks impossible to get in. We don't care for the remoteness of the loop.

We heard that a fifth wheel got stuck in a ditch and had a heck of a time getting out. They really need to improve that area.

I agree 100%. On our last trip, they offered us a site in 1900 when we first arrived. Man am I glad we went and looked first. Very small and tight sites.

I agree. We camped there in October, a tangle of vines and water with a drop off on one side. I don't care where else they put us, just not 1900. I filled out a survey and voiced my concerns about the loop and e-mailed disney...that has been about two months ago with no response. I guess they know it is a bad loop.

Boy..I'm sorry that was your experience, but appreciate for the warning to others. Certainly not a loop I'd request. Thanks for the heads up about 1900 loop.

If you want a quiet, well away from everything camping experience the 1900 is for you.

My parents took us for a tour in their cart to check out lights last month and we drove through this loop. I didn't even know it was back there and it seemed pretty creepy and out of the way. I guess that's where the Scooby Doo nature trail near the Marina goes to.

I've heard that there has been campers that entered the 1900 loop and never came back. Some say they still wander the loop looking for the bath house. Must be true cause my late cousin by my first wife's aunt sue's sister's neighbor told her it was.

My DH and I have been ranting and raving about FW for years to our fellow campers. One couple went with us this weekend and they were like “this is it!”. We had to take them around the loops and show them the real FW before they decided to book with us for 4th of July. At $100.00 per night loop 1900 is a rip off. Camping is about being outside and enjoying the outdoors. Our motorhome is 35ft with two slides and it left no room for chairs and tables outside.

We were in 1900 last year and were very disappointed with it, too! Couldn't put out the awning because of a tree ... had to watch our step just walking around the MH because of drop-offs ... no way could we put out a lounge chair and just sit. The cypress droppings got tangled in our Schnauzer's hair, and every time we took her out it took us 20-30 minutes to clean her up. Yuk! Nothing positive to say about this loop except yes, it is on-site.

We stayed in the 1900 loop over Thanksgiving and liked it. We were directly across from the comfort station and loved being that close. We also met some very nice people there and it was a quiet loop. However, we own a small pop up. We saw some very scary sites with big rigs in that loop. One guy had to move the picnic table to get out (and still nearly hit the table) and another hit a tree. A third camper with a large motor home almost hit a truck trying to get out of his site. The bathhouse is clean but could use updating. It is a good loop if you have a very small trailer or a pop up. However, I would be terrified to put anything very large in there. The guy hitting the tree was very scary and I felt sorry for him. If Disney isn't going to update that loop, then it needs to be used for tents or pop ups only.

It is good a good loop if you want to be off the beaten path. And don't mind hiking a mile to the bus. Or walking an hour to the pool. Or want room on your site. But what about the..............oh yeah it doesn't have that either.
But then again, it is named Wagon Wheel Way. You know, that must mean something.

We've been to the Fort about 10 times in the past 7 years and when we checked in last week we were assigned 1913. They said nothing else in pet loops were available. We proceeded and we found the site in disarray....it had not been cleaned....the green water hose was strewn about. Tire tracks were off the site and in the ditch...maybe this is the area where the fiver got stuck that was mentioned. The picnic table was left over in the woods. Needless to say, I went to the nearest courtesy phone and complained and we ended up in the 1600 loop which we prefer. I had to move after partially setting up but I did not mind a bit. 1900 is awful compared to the other loops. The rest of the trip has been nice. We return home in the morning.

My in-laws checked in and emailed me photos of their site (and the area around it). She is very unhappy. She says it is not at all like the other areas. And no cable either. She wants to move but they are full.

I think the 1900 is a full hook-up which means no cable or internet hook-up
