We just booked our trip for November and was able to get all the ressie's I wanted. For the past few years, we ate at Akershus dinner and wanted to try something else so I booked the 1900 Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner instead. Can anyone give me any feedback on it? We have DD4 and DS2 and I've heard that the character interaction is pretty good and that they would enjoy it. We are also going CRT during our stay because we just can't pass up the opportunity of eating in the castle!!!

I appreciate any help and feedback1:)

If you mean dinner at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand floridian? We did this 2 years ago and it was great! It's Cinderella and her "family": Drizella, Anastasia, Lady Tremaine and Prince Charming. The stepsisters are absolutely fantastic- the CMs playing them are hilarious! At some point, Cind & PC have a royal dance, then invite all children to join them on the dance floor. All characters make their way to the tables for autographs.

The character interaction was great when we went 12/09. We had a good time.

We did this for my DD birthday when she turned 5. It was fantastic. She loved all the characters, they spent lots of time with everyone and made us all feel special. The food was good too, and my daughter is picky sometimes. There was a good variety of food and since they rotate the seating in, it is not too crowded at the buffet.

Have fun!

We did this last year for the first time......the character interaction is the best I've been too. The step mother/sisters are hilarious.

I thought the food was okay at best but I'm hoping I was there on an off night because I want to go back. The characters alone are worth it!!!

Love Park Fare at dinner! Some of the best character interaction at a meal and the food was great! would highly recommend it.

I agree. I thought the food was very disappointing to be honest. The selection they had was awful. I know they change the theme often, while at the same time keeping most of the same/favourites consistent. The theme that particular night was pretty gross. Awful selection. Also, it also appeared as thou there was a food shortage. Lol. They didnt replenish the items quick enough. The dessert selection wasnt great either...pretty sad. Im glad i went for the characters, cause they were HILARIOUS. But because of the food, i wouldnt go back.

I agree too! The food was not good and we did not enjoy that part of the meal. There is plenty of food to fill up on but we will definately not return until I have a granddaughter which will be many many many years from now. But DD will never forget meeting the characters! It was wonderful. You should at least go for the Characters!

:thumbsup2

we have done this one the past two visits and i have been very pleased... it isn't signature dining but the food is decent, the characters are great, and the staff wonderful... if you have little princesses i'd say its a must do at some point! my girls have really enjoyed this both times... especially the sisters and stepmother :thumbsup2

We just went last week and thought it was fantastic! The characters were great and took their time with everyone. Lady Tremaine and I, for example, talked at length about my wedding dress (it was our 2nd anniversary trip and she wanted to know if I still remembered our wedding day). It was funny. DH and I both really enjoyed the food, too.

we go every trip...I :lovestruc the strawberry soup. We love the steps..(sisters & mother) the best is when they come to your table and someone is up getting food...they will yell their name until they come back to the table....Last year one of the sisters fell in love with my 13yr son...she kissed him on the forehead and even walked him out of the restaurant arm in arm...it was so special...if I can find the pic of my son with the kiss I'll post it...

We went last month....character interaction was fantastic! Prince Charming was exactly that, he started a conversation with my DD age 4.5 and her cousin age 5 who were spellbound. Biggest smiles of our trip. Lady Tremaine and her sisters were a riot. Be sure to ask them why they ripped off Cinderella's pink dress before the ball.....they have a GREAT answer for this on. I got teary eyed when Prince Charming held out his arms for my DD to dance with him, it was a magical moment! I would highly recommend.

We found the food to be good. The entres were nothing special - basic wedding buffet hotel fare, but loved all the salad choices. Fresh and very good.

Enjoy, it was the highlight of our last trip.

Sounds like the same night we were there......Very disappointed with the dessert selection too!!! I wish they would move the characters from 1900 to Cape May Clambake. Fantastic dessert bar there!! :thumbsup2

we're going for the first time too. Im glad this was posted. We're really excited to try this, my dd's name is anastasia so im excited to see what they do when they hear what her name is!

Everyone has their own opinion, but this is one we didn't like and wont go back to. We found the character interaction limited. It was so packed that Cinderella didn't come to our table at all even though we were there for 1 hr and 45mins. In the end we just gave up waiting and left. Anastasia did stop and sing happy birthday to my dd but Drizella just breezed past, no time for even a photo. We did get a quick photo with Prince Charming but it was click and he was off. Maybe we had an off night but the food didn't impress me enough to want to go back. When I looked at the buffet, I thought, 'great, heaps of things we will love.' But to be honest I felt it really lacked flavour and I struggled to eat what I had chosen. We've had nothing but good experiences at the other princess meals.

We enjoyed 1900 Park Fare dinner. The food was quite good... It's difficult for me to understand why people complain.... not sure what people expect?

The characters were fun and willing to joke around. But... I liked meeting these characters in the parks much better. Easier to get pictures without people in the background. At 1900 Park Fare, I could have turned around and used the wall behind us as background with no people in our picture, but you wouldn't be able to do that at a table in the middle of the restaurant. We already had lots of great princess and Cindy photos anyway. The princess meetings we had at MK and Epcot were fantastic. We met the stepsisters at the halloween party in 2009 and they were a real blast of fun to kid around with.
