18mm-200mm for nikon

Could anyone tell me how much i would be expecting to pay for this lens, i have seen it for $799 is this good or bad.

I paid $799 for mine but I've seen below $700 on some online stores. It's a hard to get item right now so I wouldn't expect much of a discount until demand drops or production catches up. It's a great lens for what it is. I just got back from WDW on Tuesday and used that lens for all my pics. I have a thread on here that has a few pics take with it. I'm getting an album together with some more. I'll post a link later on.

I paid $750 for mine from Ritz in February and it took over two months to be delivered.

I got mine from 17th Street Photo in January for $680. I got lucky. I called to see if I could be put on a waitinging list. The guy said that they just got some in that day and asked if I wanted one. Oh yeah!!! I guess the prices have gone up. It's now listed at $734.89. BTW, I absolutely love this lens. It's the only lens I use. I took over 2500 pictures at WDW. I've probably taken over 5000 overall.

I ordered mine from Ritz at the end of March for my June 9th trip. It is still on back order. Looks likeI will be using basic lens that came with camera. I really wanted more zoom on my camera but I hate to buy a lens when I know that I will eventually be getting that great new lens. Am I being unrealistic? Should I get a lens to get more zoom??
