What time of day does the 180 mark start, and is it "better" to book online or by phone?

Disney online dining reservations start at 6am EST.

Disney phone dining reservations start at 7am EST.

If you are a DVC member, you can use their free 800 number starting at 9 am EST, if you are not in a hurry and think that you might be on the phone a long time.

Which is best is up to you.

I like going online an hour earlier than waiting to call an hour later.

I also like booking online seeing the restaurants and some menus and Lunch and Dinner times for each restuarant.

But usually, special events like the Epcot Candlelight Processional Package require a phone call. A lot of people are curious if this event might be available online on the first day June 26th.

Usually special events don't require 180 day requirements.

But they keep moving the month back further and further.

Last year it was July, and earlier years it was August and now June.

But that wasn't your question.
