Are reservations still contingent on 180 days prior plus up to 10 days from the start of a resort reservation? Just booked one at Sci Fi for June and I was not asked for any resort information.

Yes, that is still the case. What date were you booking for?

never mind that question since 6/30/11 ADRs have been able to be booked since 1/1/11 - so a week ago. You're in the window for anyone to book, so that's why it didn't ask.

...also...there is a thread on the "Reservations" board from October/November that I just bumped up for current info. It stated that as of early November, the on-line system was not allowing users to make 180+10 ADRs, and that for anything outside of 180 days, you had to call. Is that still the case?

As far as I know the rule hasn't changed. You must be 180 days away from either the start of your vacation or the night you want to make an ADR which ever is first. In other words once you are 180 days from your first night you can book ADRs for the rest of your vacation up to 10 nights. If you are not in a Disney resort you must book 180 day from each ADR.

Where do the Swan and Dolphin fit in? Do they get to use 180+10?

Last I knew they could not use the +10. I think that could at one time, but a few years ago I remember people saying they were surprised that you couldn't do it "anymore". So not sure if it was ever available there or not or if people were mis-remembering but I don't think you get that at S/D.

I was thinking about our upcoming November trip and I guess I'll be booking something in May.
