180 days out and the DW already has the reservations.

The weather is kind of crappy here today and everyone is off from school or work except me

Oh well, life goes on.

I suppose I need to work on getting our tickets now so we can make the FP arrangements when that time comes.

Anyone else going in August?

Yes, but staying DVC Beach Club and only 2 days in parks (MK, EPCOT). Other stuff will be Legoland, resort day/Titanic exhibit (DS 6 obsessed with Titanic). Driving from CT as the Mrs. doesn't want to pay airline tickets as we flying FL next Feb. for Disney cruise. So will be 2 day drive, 5 day stay, 2 days back...long drive/short stay, but it is what it is (which, happily, is Disney). :smooth:

Trip is over DS 9 #10 b-day....she made dining ressie's today too...all his choices for b-day.

We struggle with the drive versus fly. But of course going to the fort makes it simple. Can't bring the camper if we don't drive. I just wish someone else would take a turn at the wheel. We could make the trip quicker (from NE PA). DW would if I couldn't for some reason. She is just not happy with driving the Truck towing the camper. The truck alone she is good with, just not fond of towing.

DD18 has only been driving a year and I don't know if I am ready to let her drive the truck towing the camper (with the rest of us in the vehicle). Same with her BF21. He's been driving for a little over a year (maybe about 6 months more than DD18).

So I am the one that dictates the Travel schedule since it's not good for me to fall asleep while driving. For some reason, people frown on that sort of thing. :)

I wasn't, for the first time ever, keeping track of our countdown. I got an email from Disney reminding me that we were at 180 days and could make our ADRs. We're just concentrating on the Fort for this trip and the water parks. We will hit Universal for two days though. I have a night reserved at the Royal Pacific resort. Dining reservations just weren't on my radar because I guess I just figured we'll be camping so we'll be cooking. Goes hand in hand. I did make a reservation for 'Ohana-DH loves never ending offerings of meat! I also want to try Boma. I'm sure our first night will consist of the Giddyup and Go. No one believes that I'll be able to resist going into one of the the Disney parks, but at $500.00 for one day, I think I'll be able to stick to my guns.
