anyone know the details of the 180-day ADR rule? we have a trip planned in JUN 2008, so my 180-day date is coming up. in fact, when talking with a CM from Disney Dining last week, they confirmed that if you're staying on property, it's actually a 190-day rule.

anyway - can i make ressies for my whole 10-day trip 180 days from our arrival date? or will i need to make day-by-day ressies 180 days out from each?

also...is the rule for making ADR's at CRT any different than for anywhere else?

You can make all of your ADRs at once at the 190 day mark (since you are staying 10 days). From what I've read on here, the Chef's Table at V&A doesn't do the 190 thing, only 180.

As the previous poster said, you can make all of your dining reservations on your 180 day mark. My 180 day mark was December 2, 2007 and I was able to book all ten days worth of ADR's.

When making your Cinderella's Castle reservation, even if you are on the dining plan, you will have to have a credit card to hold the reservation. Your credit card will not be charged unless you do not show up for your reservation. The cancelation policy is 24 hours in advance of your reservation.

It's actually 180 days from your arrival, but you can book out 10 days. So you dont call at 190 days from your first day, just to clear that up..

This post is correct. You start at 180 days, then you make 10 days worth of reservations. This always gets everyone.:upsidedow

Can anyone confirm that the Chef's Table has to be made 180 ahead? Will I have to call each morning to try to get it?

so if your going for 17 days, can you call 180 from your first date and book for the next 17???

Yes, the CT at V&A can be reserved only starting 180 days out; the 180+10 does not apply.

You can only make reservations for your length of stay, but no more than ten days, at the 180 day mark. Also, you must be staying at a Disney owned and operated resort to do this.

I am not sure, but if you qualify for the 180+10, you may be able to reserve day 11 at the 179 mark, etc.; otherwise at the 170 mark you could make the remainder of your reservations.

D'oh that's what I meant, 180 from your first day. Thanks!

Thanks! That will be a week of early mornings on the phone!:goodvibes

Thanks, we are staying at a disney resort, but we have 3 seperate reservations because of free dining, one night off it, then 14 or 15 on it, whatever the max was (we booked on the last day - then X days out, that is why we couldn't split it into two on free dining) and then 1 or two off free dining.. wow, this should be fun and or crazy when making our reservations.. I just know I will have them all ready and will let them tell me which days I can and cannot make...thanks again for all the help because I didn't know I could book any days out this will help immensely!!! I would have been calling every day making one days reservations... than if she had told me I could book them all, I would have not been prepared and scrambled to make sense of my intinerary...and fallen off my chair no doubt :)
