I just read that starting October 27, park hours will be released 180 days in advance. We will also be able to make ADRs 180 days in advance as well. That got me thinking--
We are hoping to be staying at AKV next year for our first trip home. I hope I can get a concierge studio for our first night there--a Saturday night--which saves on points since it's a studio but also allows us to hopefully book the Sunrise Safari. I will not get the dining plan for this one night. Then I hope to move to a savanna view 1 BR at Kidani for the next 6 nights (Sun-Fri). I plan on adding the dining plan to this part of our stay. My question is when can I make dining reservations? 180 days from the Saturday, the first day of our stay? Or 180 days from the Sunday, the first day of our dining plan?
TIA!

I am not sure of the answer to your question but I am just happy that the park hours and the ADR's have gone back to 180 days. It was driving me CRAZY to have to wait that long to do my planning!!!! YEAH!!!!!:dance3:

Your 180-day window has nothing to do with your dining plan, but with your arrival date. But since you have 2 reservations, it's possible that they won't let you make ADRs for the rest of your stay until the next day, when the 180-day window kicks in for the 2nd reservation.

(I have a split stay and was able to make all my ADRs for the whole trip at 90 days out from the first day.)

 I am 424 days from my trip and already know where we want to stay and almost every ADR we want. 180 days works for me! :thumbsup2

I agree!!! I am excited, too! Part of the fun is the planning. Now I can spend more time doing it. :cool1:

I guess I'll try to call 180 days from the first ressie. Then if they won't let me make them then, I'll call the next day. I realize the dining plan has nothing to do with it, but since my first ADR won't be until the 2nd day of the trip, I wasn't sure I could make them 180 days from the 1st day.

About the park hours--Does this mean that they will be released 6 months in advance on the 1st of each month? :confused3 I'll have to call for my ADRs on the 5th but I need to see park hours before I call.
