ADR day is tomorrow! I have never personally made ADR's before so I'm a little nervous! How do I ensure I get the 180+10 days? Do I just log into MDE and do it from there? My MYW reservation is already linked, but I am not the main person on the reservation, so will that make a difference? I've heard a lot of stories of people not being able to make ADR's for their whole trip so I just want to make sure I do it right!

TIA!

To ensure it I'd call... Only because the website is so iffy.

Last week I was able to make all my ADRs at 180+10 with no problems online. Now, I was the main person on my reservation, but I think if you have it all linked in MDE you should be fine. I had great times for BOG, Ohana, and others all before 6:30am - and the phone lines don't open until 7.

Since I knew to this and I have to do my ADR's tomorrow morning I was wondering where do we go to book the dining online? thanks so much! Nervous as well!

Before the 180 mark
  1. Navigate to https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/
  2. Log in if you are not
  3. Mouseover the My Disney Experience logo in the top right
  4. Click on "My Reservations" under "Plan and Manage"
  5. If you do not see your Disney Resort Hotel Reservations listed, then click the "Link a Resort Reservation" button and follow the prompts

On the 180 day morning
  1. Navigate to https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/
  2. Log in if you are not
  3. Mouseover the "Things to Do" heading
  4. Click on "Make Reservations" under "Dining"
  5. Enter the search information - At this time, the extra days should be available to select.
  6. Click on a time that results from your search and follow the prompts on the screen
  7. Copy/Paste the Confirmation number into Notepad/Excel/Word/Whathaveyou so you don't have to rely on the relatively unreliable emails.
  8. Repeat for each ADR
  9. Go back a few days later and change everything...
  10. Go back a couple weeks after that and change everything around again...
  11. Cancel and rebook the same restaurant several times to get it "just right"
  12. Spend the next ~6 months obsessing over your choices of venue and time

Ok, the last 4 are optional ;).

(As a note, you should be able to see dates starting March 1 if the site is catching your 180+10 eligibility correctly. If it fails, you can try using a different browser, clearing the cache on the current browser, or just waiting an hour and calling. Outside of BOG and maybe pre-9pm Ohana, that extra hour shouldn't put you at much of a disadvantage.)

Thank you so much for the thorough information...all set for 6am tomorrow morning!:cool1:

Thank God I'm not the only one that does this??!!

This is so helpful! I'm making my reservations tomorrow for the very first time (first trip to the world!) and was getting a little nervous. Now if only I didn't have to wake up at 3:00am to do it!

Wow, thanks for this info. My DH tried this morning but could not get a reservation past 180 days. I tried from dvcmember with same result. But then I followed the instructions above, through the direct Disney URL, and there it was, all the way to March 10th. Fabulous! We got our BOG reservations, as well as Hoop Dee Do and others. :yay:

*sigh* Trying this morning doing it this way & only out to 180 are showing.

It worked for me as long as I made each reservation directly from the MDE page. I needed to log back in several times.

Just piggy backing on these instructions bc I have a question.
I know you can only do 180 days ahead if you are not on property. However, if not staying on property where do you go in the reservation process instead of clicking on "link hotel reservation"?

Trying this morning (180 day mark) and it keeps telling me that the website is having issues and to call. I had both my reservations I wanted too. UGH. Have to get ready for work and take the kids to school. No time to call until later today.

Trying today to get 180 +10 and nothing seems to be working. It shows our reservation on the calendar days, but won't let me book anything past 180 days. Very frustrating!!! I have tried the old website, going through dvcmember.com and anything else that I can think of!

I never was able to get mine to let me do 180 + 10 going through the web site, but they could when I called in. Really weird. It even showed in certiain spots on the web site that I should be allowed to, and then when I started looking for the date, it wouldn't let me.
