call at 190 days?

staying onsite if that makes a difference

it's supposed to be the first one... 180 plus 10 does not equal 190.

180 plus 10 does not equal 190.
i think it does!

i usually do reserve for up to 10 days at the 180 day mark however
ive seen ppl post that they called at 190 days and got their AR!

it doesn't.

what you see people doing is getting a CM who isn't being mindful or knowledgeable about how it works. your 180th day is within 180+10 for others before you. the CMs are booking it because the computer lets them.

you can try, but that's not the intent

The computer will let them book you 180 days from your FIRST day onsite, and you are also allowed to book all the days AFTER that, which of course IS more than 180.
SOOO...if you are staying 10 days, in essence you are booking 190 days out from the LAST day of your vaca. That is what people are referring to.

TRUST ME...I know...I tried to book on what I THOUGHT was 180 days, but I was 2 days early! No way, Jose! AND WPC you have to wait...that was the one booking I could NOT book until exactly 180 days out (it is our 6th day at WDW, so I had to wait 6 more days to call in for that one! Go figure!)
I think the way some posters have presented it, it can be easily misunderstood.

another question - lets say on our arrival day we're not planning an AR
can i call on the 180 day from the trip to book 10days out or do i need to wait till 180 days from when I want to start the ARs?
in other words this sun is my 180th day but not planning AR on that first day

You can call 180 days in advance of your check-in day and then make ADRs for up to 10 days of your stay; you don't need to make one for check-in day if you don't want to. But, obviously, you will need to have your WDW resort reservation already in the system and you will be asked for your confirmation number.

Hmm...this is a thread I just read: http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1449192 Looks like you can book before the 180 day mark.
