18" Of Space in Mission Space??

It doesn't go anywhere to get stuck.

You were the one who said "stuck for an hour".

Its just not possible for the capsule to "go" anyplace that it can't be opened (manually or otherwise) if there is a "failure" of some kind.

You can repeat yourself again, but that doesn't make it accurate. There are a number of points it could be stopped and one would be detained past the duration of the attraction. That would make many uncomfortable.

Again, I never said someone would be fatally stuck, that you could NEVER get out. Simply noting the fact, and knowing myself well enough to know, that I do not wish to put myself in that situation, so I enjoy the dozens of other rides at WDW instead. So it's irrelevant to the concerns that you point out how it can be manually released - which would NOT be instantly possible in all situations, and yes, one could be detained in that ride.

I stand by my statement about how I FEEL, regardless of your condecention or beliefs.

Very sorry you have such ill will that you must find fault with simple statements.

You are very rude and unkind to insult me without cause.

Folks, you could not get "stuck" in there.
The capsule doesn't "go" anywhere to get stuck.

The front panel (and side doors) can be PUSHED/PULLED open by hand.

Like the shoulder harnesses in AE/SGE, the mechanical apparatus can be moved out-of-the-way by manual pressure.

Your, right about that but if the ride stopped because of a power outage you most likely can't get out of the vehicle. It wouldn't be safe in case the power went back on and the ride started moving when people were getting out of the vehicle they could get hurt, so they would leave people in the vehicle until the power came back on.

Sorry Robo, but your posts did come across as condecending IMO. If you find my feeling that "very rude and unkind", then so be it. You quoted me, then started by saying, "Folks..." and talking like we were three-year-olds who didn't understand how the ride works. Anyone who has ridden it and seen the centerfuge understands that. I explained further why people may be uncomfortable because there is the possibilty of being in the cab longer than the duration of the ride, and you just repeated the same lecture, again, like we didn't know how the ride works and just weren't understanding you. I find that condecending. Just my opinion.

Regardless, I think the OP's question has been answered. Yes, there is only about 18" of space around you when enclosed in the capsule, and opening and closing it is out of your control, and the front of the capsule closes in on you. If that makes you uncomfortable, then it may not be the ride for you.

There are likely HUNDREDS of DISers with the "I've been Blessed" (Winne the Pooh) pic.

It happened as part of a very large thread a couple of weeks ago.

Take a look.

It's okay Robo, no need to keep up the cover story. We've been caught.

The poster thinking that we were one in the same was only half-right. Robo is actually my long-lost twin, and we are destined some day to rejoin the dual "I'm Blessed" icons, and once they are combined into one a great power will be unleashed and we will become...the Masters of the Universe.

Or something like that. ;)

I got "stuck" for about 18 minutes after the ride stopped, I just about lost it well actually I did I was crying and then I started screaming what if its on fire,, while I can tolerate the ride itself , sitting there waiting for them to open the doors is torture, I didnt want to ride it anymore after that.
