$175.00 Atlantic City to MCO - Grab it?

Just checked Spirit Air for 4 tix from Atlantic City to MCO - about $175.00 each. We're not leaving until the end of August and I know I've gotten tx for $135.00 each before. Since we have MUCH time between now & leaving time - what's your opinion. Should I grab the fare now or wait a bit. I suppose I can always get a voucher for our next trip - just wanted others' opinions.

I have $176 for July 2005 with another airline. $175 is a $1 better that I did. Spirit is a great airline to fly.

ACY to MCO in March is over $300 a ticket with Spirit (peak season). I've never seen it that high. Last year I got it for $158 in March.

I'm one that likes to book way in advance. If it was me, I would pay the $175, but that is me. I've seen their cyber specials as low as $129, but it is usually last minute. I like to have my ducks in a row in advance. Hope this helps. Good luck!

that I booked our airline tix oh...300 or so days in advance..? Everyone laughed when I said I had our tickets booked..."WHAT? So far in advance??!!" Yep...and they're the same people who are now asking me where I found that great price.

If you know you're going, why not jump at a great rate?

TZMOM - don't want to influence your decision and have you wait and not get your flight, but at the beginning of August Spirit was running some very low fares for the end of August - round trip ACY to MCO was 105.00 including all fees !! So low that DD, her Bfriend and I went down for a long weekend to meet up with family at WDW - they had booked several months in advance at about $240.- each !! That said, I'm paying more than $176.- RT at the end of January - wanted to get it booked, and the fares don't seem to be budging for our dates !!
