This is interesting thanks for sharing. We are staying at Windsor Hills also but not in the condo, in a villa with our own pool. We are wondering how clean it will be. So far the booking and confirmation has gone smoothly.

Am loving your report! And its good to see someone giving an honest opinion about on-site vs off-site. DH and I were just talking about this last night and saying we'd like to try a new resort (we had looked into Mike Ditka's Runaway Beach Club but now we might have to reconsider given your review and photos!!!) off-site that wasn't too far to drive to WDW. With all the crowds during free dining and the cost of staying on-site in small rooms we realised that our next trip is probably going to have to mostly off-site if not completely. We can still eat at all our favourite Disney places (and a few signature places too!) and we'll still come out ahead!

Am REALLY looking forward to the rest of your trip review!!!

This is a great trip report. We are staying off-site in a villa in Formosa Gardens in 11 days. We have only been to WDW once before and we stayed off-site then too. My kids did not want to stay on-site because they did not want to the walk to the pool. Now the pool is practically a part of the house. When I read these boards I feel like I am in such a minority for being off site. All I ever read is how I will miss out on the "magic". Your report helps me feel so much better. Looking forward to hearing more.

Can you give me directions to the parks from formosa Blvrd?? Did you take Funie steed Road?

I feel the same way. Everything i read is onsite onsite onsite.... it is very discouraging.

I'm enjoying your trip report and pictures immensely! We stayed at an offsite condo during our stay in September and it was the best experience ever. I've never had a problem at the Disney Resorts but I would rather spend $160.00 on a 3 bedroom condo then a standard room at a moderate onsite hotel.
