Just did it for dh. He is going to China next week and then ca the net week. More miles for disney for us. I am holding out for an ap rate, if nothing for our days then I will just use some miles for a room only. We have about 150K right now. We never even fly american, only for dh business trips.

You have no idea how happy I am to get this message! Both my husband's account and my account were set to expire on January 14, 2011. We haven't flown on AA for a bit, but I sure hate to lose those miles. Thank you so much!!

Thank you, I always can use the little bit of activity to make the account last a bit longer.

Thanks for posting! For those who had points about to expire... When I'm getting close to that date, I go on aadvantageeshopping.com, pick a store and buy the cheapest thing I can find. Lots of stores to pick from. I've got accounts set up for my kids, yoo.
