We love the Dolphin - has the laundry, 24/7 Picabu eatery, closer to the Grotto pool - if you have an
AAA card you get 20% of the hotels owned eateries (including the Swan). Join Starwood (parent company of the Swan & Dolphin) and earn points for your stay.
Mini- refrigerator in your room.
Dolphin can fit a family of 5.
Boats to DHS & EPCOT or walk to EPCOT.
Snack, eat, walk along the Boardwalk.
Bus to MK & AK - but not long waits and you will find a seat on the bus.
We have been there Easter weeks and end of June - never had a bus problem.
Grotto pool is 3 acres in length - nice and big. Towels at the cabana.
There is also a kiddie pool, hot tub, lap pool and another pool at the Swan.
Basket Ball courts, sandy beach with a play area for kids on it, tennis courts, walk to Fantasia mini-golf and boat rentals at the BC/YC next door.
No need for a food plan - just budget yourself - we find no difference between the price of the WDW food plans and paying OOP. Sometime OPP is less expensive, especially when we do breakfast in the room.
Dolphin is so worth the money and $150 is a wonderful price.
