15 passenger van?

I was wondering if anyone had driven one of these to Disneyworld and what was your experience like? Was it difficult to manuever? I would like to plan a Grand Gathering next year and this would make sense for our entire crew (of 12 - 7 adults, and 5 kiddos ages 1 to 10)....

It is a lot less expensive to rent 2 cars.

if you have never driven a big pick up it can be a bit of a jump.

Yes a TON cheaper to rent full size sedans.

We're heading to Disney Aug 18th - 26th.

Instead of booking a flight at Albany International which is a half hour away I booked a MUCH cheaper flight out of Bradley International, then return home to ALB.

Bradley is 2.5 hours from me and after researching some different options getting there, 2 fullsize sedans were a little over $200, whereas anything larger with luggage capacity I couldn't find under $450.

But with the flight savings it was well worth the $200 to rent the cars.

As far as driving a van, of course it's different but not that difficult to get used to after a little driving time.

We drove one for 8 passengers, so it was a couple to each seat pretty much with the back seat taken out for luggage. We actually drove it from NJ to GA for a family reunion, but same thing pretty much!

It wasn't too bad. Took a little while to get used to driving it, but had no problems at all!

Your personal auto policy and credit card coverage may exclude that size vehicle. Check, you may have to add expensive damage waiver on top of expensive rates.

I've been looking into renting a big van too but after weighing all the options I found 2 small cars or one mini van one car to be cheaper. The big vans get really low gas milage.
