15% off Air Canada and West Jet for fall flights

Both AC and WJ have 15% off flights September 15 to December 14.

I priced out the flights with discount from AC and WJ for the dates we are looking at and AC was $1519 WJ was $2121 for the same dates.

Also with west jet coming back you leave at 8am and arrive home at 1046pm.

I am surprised at the huge price difference

Flights seem much more this year. We bought flights Oct 2011 for Feb 2012 and they were $1038 with AC for the 3 of us.

WJ can often be more than AC...sometimes it goes the other way of course as well.

As for higher fares, I am sure the price of oil/fuel has something to do with that as well! I am paying more at the pump than last year too...

I usually find West Jet considerably more expensive.

Based on those prices I booked my flights with miles and will spend the difference staying longer It is a win win really.

So do I, but I thought $200pp with a 15% discount and really bad flight times to Halifax was a bit much.

Flights are ridiculous...we are driving down in October. Way cheaper for 4 of us.

We took Wesjet the last time we went to FL and it was about $1000 for three of us. We flew out at 10am on the Saturday, and back at 10pm the following weekend. They've since eliminated the 10pm return - boo!

We booked with Air Transat in October. It was $1250 all-in for the three of us. We leave at the horrible time of 6:50am, but at least we get to FL in time for breakfast! The return was earlier than we would have liked - 10am - but with DS having school the next day it is probably a good thing
