$15 Disney Holiday coupon Fiasco Continues

Well I can't believe what Disney is doing now. Ok I had a couple of these Holiday cards. So I made my purchases online and mailed in the cards and have been checking my credit card to see if they had reimbursed me my $15.39 yet. Well today in the mail guess what I get??? A gift card for $15.39. Hello Disney!!! I already placed an order to receive my refund I don't want to buy more stuff!!! Get with the program Disney you should have issued Gift Cards in the first place so now are you trying to go back and do it now. I just want $15.39 reversed off my credit card I don't want to place another order. Some of my orders they did reverse the $15.39 off my credit card so why not all of them? Is anybody else experiencing this that had the Holiday Cards? They have just in my opinion made the situation even worse.

Here is my experience with the fiasco. I did not have the holiday cards, but I used my Debit card to place my orders. On my debit card, I placed 3 orders totaling approximately 23.00. Well, when I learned my orders would not be filled I called and canceled them. However, I learned that when you use a debit card disney sends through an authorization for 1.00 for each order plus they charged my card for $23.00. So, I call and tell them that they have charged my visa and yet I have no merchandise. Well, it takes me up to 3 supervisors to get them to agree with me that debit cards work differently than credit cards, and that an authorization of a debit card is actually a charge, and she tells me I will be credited back the amount in 7days. Well, 14 days later and no credit I call back. They tell me they have to fill out paper work and it will be another 7 days. So, yesterday I check on line and now they have credited me back $23.00, but not the $1.00 preauthorization fee's times 3 orders. So, basically this has been a huge headache. I am out 3 dollars and yet another debit card I haven't addressed for $7.00. I tell you what a joke!!! I try to get what I thought was a deal and I am now in the red a total of $10.00. Nice huh.

Amazing, just amazing. It does seem as though Disneystore.com is just making up the rules as they go. And some people were worried that Disney was going to lose money on this deal. $1 doesn't seem like much, but when you add up the number of people they did this to, it's probably a nice little profit. Live and learn I guess, I won't ever do business with the online store again.

I placed 4 orders with the holiday code. No order was I getting anything for free, 3 of the orders were still over $20 each. I rec'd 1 e-mail from Disney that I couldnt not use "holiday" for L&S preorder. That was fine with me. I rec'd no other info on my 3 other orders I did not contact them. Finally I see they have been cancelled. I sent an e-mail to Disney just to say I was disappointed in the way it was handled. When I placed my order I could have gotten a discount with my Disney Club, Blast or the "holiday" code. Well of course I picked the best one. No mention of card needed. I assume if I was not a Disney Club I would not be offered the discount--same with "holiday" I assumed if it was offered I could have it. Oh well.
I think they should have offered to let you combine orders and get the $15 off or offer another discount equal to "holiday" if your purchase was a certain amount.

I placed my order, as I did have the holiday card, I sent it in to Disney on 11/4 and my visa has the 15.39 credit on this statement.
