15 days, and work is nuts.....

So down to 15 days and work is crazy. I am a trial attorney for our local prosecuting attorney's office and I have three cases to try in two weeks....eeek. I usually can go a few months between trials, but no, right before vacation here I am. Tomorrow, a 3 day case, next week a 3 day then a 2 day. I figured someone would settle, but no, now everyone wants a trial.... My head is spinning and all I want to do is dream of disney.

Just venting. I knew you guys would understand.

Even though I dont work I am still going crazy with trying to get everything ready for our trip and while we are gone and I am hoping to finish up Christmas shopping this week and that will be done with and we are staying busy all Bailey's classes and play groups with her friends.... But I would rather stay busy to make the time go by quicker

Hey, it's 15 days left for me too.. and then I make the big trip! I just hope you can leave it all behind and don't get too many work-related calls. I'm leaving the laptop at home where it belongs.

One big reason why I can not get away during the holidays. Have two jobs, one working in busy pulmonary practice. Every Tom, Dick, and Harry around here seems to be ill either acute or chronic not to mention those who want to get a great deal of diagnostic testing completed prior to the end of the year insurance re-up.

I totally hear you! I am a teacher and all my kids are totally acting insane and it's like they know that I'm ready to leave on vacation. I have so much to get done at work before I leave and I only have 11 days and even through I am so excited I have 3 MAJOR final projects due for school and 2 written finals I have to complete by next week on the Friday before I leave. and between working full time, trying to get all the school stuff done, pack for me and my husband and clean the house before we leave I feel like pulling my hair out and screaming!!! I asked my husband if he could please help out around the house, so I don't have a big mess to clean up the night before we leave. I'm just trying to stay calm and try not to get to stressed out because it makes me cranky I just keep telling myself that this will soon pass and in 11 days I will be in Disneyland on Splash Mountain
