14 day ultimate ticket and ddp

Hi, we are staying at wdw for 18 nights and have a 14 day ticket with the ddp for the whole stay. I was wondering can we use the credits on the ddp with out activating our tickets, as I was thinking of going to US for our first park and not activate our disney ticket until a couple of days into the holiday.

Yes that will be fine. Your 14 days will start from the 1st day you activate it by entering a park.
Using your dining points is seperate although on the same key card...this will not effect your ultimate ticket.

The only thing is that you will not be able to eat in the parks without activating your park tickets, but you can in the hotel restaurants and DTD

I would have paid the extra £15 (I think?) and got the 21 day ticket? That way you wouldn't have to worry about saving days.

we plan on visiting Sea World and US and IOA during a first 3 days, I don't see the point of buying more than we need.
