UK people - hello !

I know a 14 day park hopper ticket is available to UK citizens.
Did you have to show a passport or drivers license to use it ?

Could a USA citzen use the 14 day park hopper ticket, which has not been used before ? A USA citizen would only have a drivers license from a USA state.

Thank you very much for any information you may know.
happy travels :)

14-Day Ultimate Ticket
The 14-Day Ultimate Ticket is intended for sale in the UK and Europe. It entitles you to 14 days of unlimited admission to all four theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios, Animal Kingdom), both water parks, Pleasure Island, DisneyQuest and the Wide World of Sports Complex. This ticket entitles you to use of the Walt Disney World transportation system - monorails, water launches, and motor coaches. Valid for 14 days from day of first use.

I've always used the tickets that 'only make exclusive' to the uk market and never been asked to show id or anything, I suppose my accent is a giveaway but other than that they wouldn't know also they come as tickets not vouchers so you don't have to go to any booth ar anything you just use them at the turnstiles as normal

forgot to add, they cost around £180 per adult £160 per child but there are so many different prices on different sites that that changes quite a lot!! :)

They are widely available at arount £150 per adult.

Can I just check these 14 day park tickets if guests used them on the first full day (saturday 21st May) would they be able to use them on their last day (Saturday 4th June)? What I am trying to say I think is that although guests are staying for two weeks they may have days inbetween when they do not go to Disney. Do they have to be consecutive days. For some reason I thoughth they expired after 21 days. Is it only 14 days? So for a two week trip either the first day or last day you could not go to Disney?

Many thanks

Susan

They are valid for 14 days but expire 21 days after first use, so they could use them on the first and last days of a 14 day holiday.

I thought they expired after 14 days so, for a 2 week holiday, you can use them on either the first or last day but not both.

You can use them as much, or as little, as you want over the 14 day period.

There is also a 21day ticket that gives unlimited access for 21 days - again you can use it as much as you like.

I think those are the only tickets that have unlimited access - all the others come with a number of days access. Where the number of days relates to days where you visit the parks, although they also expire after 14 days unless you pay for the non-expiry.

its 14 days over 21 days from first use so if you went for 3 weeks you could spread them over the stay from first to last

I think you'll find the 14 day ticket does expire 14 days after first use, and the 21 day ticket expires 21 days after first use.

Cath,

You are right. The 14 day tickets expires 14 days after 1st use and the 21 day ticket expires 21 days after 1st use.

We had a 10-day ticket which you had to use within 30 days (just to add to the confusion). Our ticket came in the form of a voucher from Thomas Cook and we had to show photo ID of the purchaser only. The CM who exchanged it had to phone someone to find out who TC were, or who the local partner was, so it took some time. :confused3

The ultimate ticket is supposed to cover you for the whole of your stay, so you get as many days as you're staying for, plus breakfast for the kids in the hotel. Only available for Disney hotels.

If you are a US resident you'll probably find it works out cheaper to get an AP (especially as you can then get discounts).

The NEW Ultimate ticket is valid for 14 days ( or 21 days if you choose that one) unlimited use from the first day of use, so if you fly in and out on a Saturday for example, you could use it first day or last day but not both. These are not exclusive to Disney Resort guest as the old Ultimate tickets were.
