Hi Everyone,
As a traveller from the UK we have purchased a 14 day park pass for the price of a 7 day pass directly with Disney. We are in Orlando for 2 weeks but are only staying at Disney for 7 nights with the other 7 nights in a villa elsewhere.
As we have 14 days of passes to the parks I'm really interested in how this will play out when we start to book FP+. Obviously when we are staying on site we will be able to book FP+ 60 days before, but will it revert to 30 days before for the second 7 days??
I'm not sure how this will work exactly as a very clever system would spot this but the nature of our passes and the fact that we are on property for a week then off for a week may change things.
Would be interested what people think!
Thanks

No; you’ll have a 60-day “rolling FP booking window.”

You’ll book FPs 60 days out from each offsite park day.

From the Split Stay section of the FP FAQ Sticky:

  • Onsite RO Stay followed by Offsite Stay. The 60-day FP booking window will open at 60 days before the check-in date of the onsite ROstay and will extend until the checkout date of the onsite RO stay. Additionally, the booking window will roll forward (a “rolling 60”) each day beyond the onsite RO checkout date until the guest checks out of the onsite resort. This assumes valid tickets are linked to the MDX account.
