The Magic disembarks the last Staycation guests on Oct 4 and her first sailing out of Miami is Oct 21, so I would think she will be fine.

Hopefully. I believe they need to wait 14 days, and then still do a test cruise. Seems like they will need more time.

I didn’t think about having to do a test cruise. And since they’re in Miami they don’t have the easy access to the cast members that port Canaveral does.

a 3 hr vs 1 hr drive wouldn’t stop most cast for a free cruise

Just when I was confident our 11/13 cruise would sail out of Miami, potentially another obstacle. The timeline looks tight. Hopefully, the Magic will only have to tweak protocols and the test sailing will be smooth.
I think the added October cruises will be an issue.

Remember the most recent court ruling is that the CSO does not apply to Florida, and that was weeks ago so it does not look like the CDC is interested in fighting that ruling at this point. If that is the case the two week thing and the test cruise rule do not apply to the Magic when it gets back to Florida.

All Cruise Lines have said that they will voluntarily follow the CDC guidelines for sailings from Florida.

I actually saw a copy of the letter Celebrity was sending their affected cruise passengers to cancel sailings on the Celebrity Summit at the end of August and early September. I would imagine other cruise lines, including DCL will follow the same protocol. Too much at stake for bad publicity if they don't and an outbreak happens.
