Hi all,

I am purchasing WDW's Memory Maker and I've only just found out that Universal also offer a similar package!!!!!

I am interested in the 14 Day Consecutive Photo Connect but I can't seem to find the details I'm looking for;

1. Does this include prints? If not, that's ok.. I'm totally happy to get these printed when I return home to the UK, but is digital download included and how long does it last? I would want to download these on to my computer at home.
2. Does it include ride photos?
3. Do I have to link it to my Universal tickets like I have to do at Disney?
4. Where do I pick up my photo card? I wouldn't imagine they would ship it to the UK at my home address.

Any help would be much, much appreciated!! Thank you!!! :) :)

It doesn't include prints but you can purchase them at a discounted price or choose the prints package at another price.

It does include ride photos so you take your Star Card to the photo desk at the end of the ride to make sure your photos get added to your card. There are also photo locations throughout the parks (and one photo booths) that you should take advantage of that are lots of fun.

I don't believe it links to your ticket at all.

There is a photo connect store at the front of each park where you can purchase the star card package.

Photo Connect doesn't seem to be very popular, so there aren't a lot of helpers here for you on this board. However, those who have used it seem to really like it.

Thanks for your help, Damo! :)

As long as there is digital download of all photos available, I am definitely going to go for it :thumbsup2

I was there March 21/22 but I still thought it was worth getting the package. We were able to use it right away. As soon as we walked into the park, a photographer took our picture. I asked him how to activate my card and he walked us over to the photo place. That's where I got the lanyard and special card. I think they said something like "part of the photo connect family". We were able to see our pictures within minutes using the photo connect app on my phone.

The best part was using it for the character meet and greets. The whole group of Cat in the Hat was out, and each character had its own line but there was only 1 photographer for all of them. There were other people that could take your picture with your own camera. EXCEPT if you are part of the photo connect family, the photographer will follow you to all of the characters. There was a family that wanted a picture with Cat in the Hat using the regular photo card (not photo connect) but they were told the priority goes to photo connect family, and if there was time, he could come back after he had taken our picture with all of the characters. I felt bad for the family, so we skipped the Lorax (last) character.

The only negative thing I have to say is that the photographers are scarce. Not all characters will have a photographer. It's not like Disney where you'll see a lot of them in one area. But even that, it was still worth having everyone in the picture. We had about 50 pictures on our card, but for my family, that is a lot!

I forgot to add that Damo is correct. It does not link to your tickets.

Also, they gave me 1-5x7 print of a picture that I chose.

If you are staying on site and using express pass, you may miss some picture opportunities, so you can ask how to get them without having to wait through the slow line.
