Just found this thread -- I kept searching for "Share Christmas Tree" and it didn't come up previously. We will be staying at OKW from 12/13 - 12/15 and then SSR the Treehouses from 12/15-12/18. Our daughter would like a tree for the day(s) we've designated in our trip to be our Christmas eve and Christmas day -- evening of 12/16 through morning of 12/17 -- so if anyone would like to share a tree, please let me know. We will have a car there to go pick one up and can drop it off at bell services at just about any resort on the afternoon/evening of the 17th or the morning of the 18th before 7 am. There won't be any ornaments but it will be lit. It also won't be too huge -- no larger than 4 ft.

Let me know as I am still looking for options and might go ahead with something if i don't hear back. My only thing with buying one is maybe there won' t be any left at Walmart when we get there. I might also rent one .

I *think* that the server/board changes that happened last winter changed how the search function works. This had been called the "Holiday Tree Exchange" for many years with no problems. This year, that title seemed to make the thread hard to find. I did change it to "Christmas Tree Exchange", but that happened pretty late in the game, and it may be part of the reason our numbers are down (to the point that some resorts didn't have exchanges at all).

On a positive note, the sharing seems to be going smoothly (knock wood). BLT Bell Services is issuing a claim number when they take the tree, so the next person has both their name and a claim number to identify the tree.

The BLT tree has returned. Thank you, everyone who participated in all of the shares. I will start a new thread in July 2016. (Yes, it will be named the CHRISTMAS Tree thread), and I will try to do a better job of sharing it on resort threads and on the resorts board for more exposure. Happy New Year!

Finally! I have success! I see you say "see you in July" but I have been searching for this glorious thread and now that I'm glad I found it I hope this year I can FINALLY partake in the fun! I'll be checking back in July!
