13 new tenants for Disney springs announced

The Tommy Bahama store could be interesting if there were some Disney Hawaiian shirts, but I'm not sure what things look like on that end with Reyn Spooner and the Pixar shirts.

First thought across my mind…and the same with lily (now that lily's gone…i'm sure they'll go sell out like ralph lauren)…if they sold an exclusive line of disney esque - TASTEFULLY - it would be off the shelves before they could restock.

I admit…i'd pay $168 for the standard $ 138 camp shirt if it was unique to disney.

I'll probably get my wish.

I live in huntington, Li. Ugg is in every where, even in there own store, here. Not too thrilled with that. Who really wants to shop full retail on those in the heat anyway. There is an ugg outlet not far from the springs, so not sure how that will do. We also have Lilly in my town ( but even I can't get enough of that store). Lilly will fit in well there. As well as tommy Bahamas. American girl is also not far away in nyc. I think they will do ok. Maybe they will come out with a line of princess clothing for the dolls.
Still in denial about the adventurers club, though.

I thought the American girl store at downtown was a sure thing...

But I didnt realize they opened one at the Florida mall... Of all places.

That makes me think there won't be one at wdw...since there are only about 10 stores in the country and they market them as "destination" type places.

I think there was a failed negotiation there somewhere...

I had the same thoughts. They will all have an exclusive Disney line that will sell out in the first 24 hours.

As a teacher, I'm in need of more Hawaiian shirts for my "Hawaiian Shirt Friday" schtick. I keep looking at the Reyn Spooners on Ebay and can't quite pull the trigger. I think if I could ever find them in a store and see it in person I'd be very, very likely to pull the trigger (who am I kidding, if I saw the Pixar ones in real life I'd drop lots of money on them).

I wonder if Disney would consider a deal with ups or FedEx to offer a flat rate "shipping center". Where you pay $15 or so to parcel tbr stuff back home?

I know from a relative (at fedex) that often with online retailer (guess who) that they will cut the rate down to neutral for volume and exposure...

If they are correct and they are "doubling" everything...they would be beyond "stuff it" and "Disney bags on the plane"

I was thinking the same thing thing recently at St Armand's square on Lido Key...wouldn't have minded dropping some cash...but just didnt want to bother to haul it.

I think I might take the idea to Iger at anaheim or whatever stock symposium he's giving a vague speech about "ambitious plans" today...
I think a 10% perpetual commission is more than fair...

Gas up the G6, Francois....

disney already offers shipping of items you buy from their stores. not sure about the 3rd party retailers though.

I'm talking about an operation specifically for that...not some rarely done side task at WOD. It would have to be a dedicated operation.

Hey I like Target! ;)

Seriously, I wish that there was some kind of a decent store that just sold snacks and drinks and so on at reasonable prices. That could be so useful when you don't have a car.

Oh come on... I can't believe you of all people are saying "I wish there was a reasonable place to buy food..."

What does that contradict on Disney property?

Answer: EVERYTHING!!

You know better ;)

Reasonable in Disney terms does not mean the same thing as reasonable in the real world. At least that's my defense and I'm sticking to it. ;)
