12x12 Weird Everyday Completed Page Prototypes

On my butterfly pages- I decided to put the prettiest side of the shimmer paper on the inside- you then get a whole mat worth at the top for journalling or just enjoying the pretty paper. I also added a 1 inch line across the bottom section of the page- the journal box on each goes over it slioghtly and their is a puff butterfly sticker on it. I did the mats on both the top and bottom of the flip up page.

Here is the prototype of my dog page. The black suares are iron-ons that I will put on before gluing down the page. I will have a different tag on each page and will put a brad in the hole on them. The strip of paper on one of the photo mats is velvet paper and I am using it like a ribbon.

I love it too- it is a series called Park Buddies by SEI- I did a mini album of Sultan and his toys using their 6by6 album in an hour kit - all the paper is precut with colored layout sketches and instructions. The have glitter stickers, brads, and all kinds of things to go with the line. The iron ons that you couldn't really see are part of the line as well. I love SEI- I belong to their bimonthly membership program- it is really easy to skip a month if I want and I get emails with their sales- they always have 1 line on sale for 50% off on their website. I plan on stocking up on Jolee Chocolate when it is on sale around Valentines (that is the line I used for the butterflies).

I am sure your pages will be wonderful- I haven't seen a page from you that isn't.

One more -- Slumber Party. I think it needs something on the mats, DH keeps telling me no. The brads that are in the corners -- I have them in a smaller size. Should I add them?

I love the concept of the page and it is a wonderful page but
I would add something to one corner of each mat
- if you have paper dolls maybe something that looks like mini pjs
or-a piece of slumber party food- popcorn, cookie, brownie, ect
or- if you have more of the fiber maybe use it diagnolly around 1 or 2 corners of the mat.

Do you have silver ink? Maybe all it needs is the edges inked. {I've started to think that all uninked edges are naked. It's a sickness I tell you.}

I find that I want to ink around everything myself.....it must be contagious

I just about broke down in tears on the 4x4 swap. I put a patterned paper over cardstock and was using the 5" Xyron so that when I punch the wholes, no paper seperating. I forgot to ink before I put them in the Xryon. I had no idea those things got sooo sticky. I couldn't ink the edges on one set. I didn't make that mistake twice.

Thanks again for the kind words. If I can get to Ms for this paper, I'll make you one. THe school paper came from a mat stack and I used it all. For this set, I used exactly one piece on printed paper for all 4. No scraps left.

THe slumber party pages are all assembled. If I have more of the mat paper, I will try prying it up and inking. If that doesn't work, Ill try the jeweled or rhinestones.

I think Santa is bringing me around 8 new inks.

THiat is what I seem to do over and over again -- forget to ink until it is too late. Despite the ink pad sitting on the table and the big note that says INK
