12 year old DD on the pill

It's hard for people that did not have horrible periods to understand! People think I'm nuts that I had my kids with absolutely no pain meds but I told them yeah it was painful but at least I got a break inbetween contactions unlike my period cramps which lasted for hours!I practically overdosed on Advil and Tylenol for days. I took myself to Planned parenthood when I was 17, BC pills were like heaven! I stayed on them for a few years, then came off at 19,for 1 month! I got so sick at work I couldn't even walk out of the building, they found me curled up on the locker room floor! After that I stayed on until I had my kids. Now that I'm 40 things are better thank goodness.
However if I had a daughter I would never hesitate to put her on the pill, ever! I would not want her to go through what I did if I could help it!
