I have a very picky 12 year old boy who will basically only eat chn fingers, maybe a hotdog.....I notice that the children's menus in most places are for ages 3-9. Can he still order off the children's menu even if I double order and they adjust the price????

At the buffets he will have to pay the adult price, but at the other places anyone can order the kids meals. Someone posted that Spoodles at the Boardwalk charged extra for someone doing this, but that is the only time I have heard of that (maybe it was a misunderstanding). At the counter service they don't care who is eating what, just go up and order what you want. I have gotten mac and cheese for me at the counter service places. I probably will do that again on our next trip.

I have twin 12 year olds and I know they will be eating off the kids menu most of the time.

Our DS 17, DGS 17, DGD 16, and DGD 14 have ordered off the childrens even at CG and Ohana. Of corse we had to order two meals for the boys. They eat alot, but are picky eaters also.

I have an 11 year old who is a very picky eater also. She was allowed to order off the kid's menu at Rose & Crown and Sci-Fi. We had to pay the adult price at CRT, but she was able to order the kid's chicken tenders.

This is our problem too!! My 11 year old daughter will only eat chicken fingers and french fries..or even Pasta with JUST butter!!!! We want to do the dining plan but the thought of paying the $35 for her is upsetting. :(

I was also looking on some of the menus for the disney rest.'s and didn't notice any adult size chicken fingers throughout the menus.. If I got the dining plan for her, I would so much rather getting her an adult size chicken finger meal than a kids size meal which only costs $5!!!

Our DS12 is also a picky eater and in June was able to order off kids menu everywhere we ate. :)

My 12 year old DD is a chicken finger eater too.I also needed to know this info.THANKS!! :goofy:

We were there in late Nov/early Dec this past year. Our 11 (almost 12)DD only wanted chicken fingers. Every place we ate at (except one...more about that later) let her eat off the kid's menu. I always told the waiter that she was 11, but wanted the kid's chicken. I offered to pay an upcharge if needed, but they always said to not worry about it. The only place that told us that we couldn't do that was at the San Angel Inn, in Mexico. But when our check came, we had been charged the child's plate price.
