Hi,
My party of 9 (7ads and 2 kids) are all sharing a 12 seater van GMC rally type. What is the chance of getting us and our luggage out of Sanford in one hit? Will there be enough space for the luggage? Are they difficult to drive?
Thanks

Hi, sorry I've never had a 12 seater but a couple of years ago we got upgraded from 2 x 7 seaters to 2 x 15 seaters, I was very dubious about driving it at first as only 2 drivers in our party of ten, but it was very very easy, you are seated higher than a car so visually you have a much better all round view of road, etc. the only difficulty we occasionally encountered was with parking spaces, they were really designed for cars and not vehicles as big but it wasn't a problem. With regards to luggage, I don't think that you will have to much difficulty, although the boots aren't huge we slip some of the cases under the rear seats and as we had at least one row of seats free we put a case between the seat and the one in front and also on the seats (even secured them with seat belts)

Hi

We had a 12 seater for our party of 10 (7 ad & 3 kids) and had no problems with luggage space, and we had plenty of luggage as we were there for a month;)
It was so easy to drive, I even drove it.
I had never driven anything that big before.

Thanks for the reply Squity, Did you take any photos of the van as i am wondering what to expect?
Cheers

Hi Reflex

Sorry no photos to hand, but I can give you the website where we hired it from.

Just click on the Van fleet info and then it should take you to the 12 seater Dodge Ram 3500.

Hope this helps

Sorry i can't help[ we've only driven a 7 seater which DH loved.

I'm saying that last time we went there was 9 of us too & we had 2 separate cars. it made life much easier & we had much more choice on what we did.

With you all in one car everyone is tied to the same timetable.

IMHO hope you don't mind me saying this.
