.... 12 or 15 pass. Van .... Where and How

I need a 12 or 15 Passenger Van. I know these are not avalible at all places.. SOOOOOO
Where can I rent this size Van And Use a Debit Card.. I do not have (nor do I want to have ) a Credit Card. I can pay with cash also but Have read on some sites that you have to pay alot more depoist up front...
Also Can you pay in advance on the internet?


Please help me... I am trying to plan a family of 10 vacation all by myself and it is getting stressful.. Any info will help.

Happy Limo doesn't require a credit card, and you can pay in cash at when you arrive at the airport, but you have to pay for the R/T up front.

Happy Limo has a webiste at http://www.happylimo.com that will answer many of your questions.

They have 14 passenger sprinter vans that will run you about $275 r/t with fees and tip.

You'll be ready for the vacation after all this planning. Hope your trip is fabulous.

I was more looking for a Rental Company.. I know I should of included that info in the original post.
I have seen that L & M Have larger vans. Is this the only rental company? I emailed to ask if they take debit cards but no reply, so if any one knows please inform me.

The folks at Mousesavers.com indicated that they've had a lot of reader complaints about L&M, so be very careful. Without a credit card, I'm sure you'd be much better off renting two 8 person vans.

Dollar rental car will allow you to rent using a debit card, but they do a credit check when you arrive at the counter. Here's a quote from Dollar's website under their policies page: http://www.dollar.com/faq/general_policies.asp

"It is Dollar Rent A Car's policy to perform a credit inquiry on customers who present a debit card as payment at the time of rental. Dollar has contracted with Equifax Credit Information Services, Inc. to perform a CARcredit99Score. This type of inquiry is a credit evaluation service for the automobile financing and leasing industries. The credit inquiry is posted on the customer's credit report and may have an effect on the customer's credit evaluation. In the event that a customer's credit score does not meet the minimum required by Dollar Rent A Car, the customer will not be allowed to rent or provide another form of payment. Dollar's debit card policy complies with all applicable federal and state laws."

Something else to consider for a 14 passenger van is insurance.
You should check with your personal auto insurance company, but I doubt that you'll be covered under your personal insurance for a vehicle that size. So you'll be forced to purchase the insurance from the rental agency... a very hefty price indeed.

For all the money you'll be spending on rental vehicle(s) you could probably stay on-site, or at a hotel very near Disney that provides transportation, and save yourself a whole lot of aggravation, IMHO.

I can't help you with your debit card question. As far as the 15 passencer van,I believe no Florida rental car company can rent you a 15 passenger van. I came across this info while researching purchasing a 15 passenger van for a H/A van for my son and taking his equipment while on vacation. If you go to nhtsa.com you will get this info. As another poster posted your insurance company may not cover one anyway. Due to all that i have read i don't plan on purchasing one, it's pretty scary info about these vans. The car company's have untill recently refused to acknowledge this problem. Dodge stop making them all together, Chevy has halfway attempted to correct the problem(not to the satisfaction of the ntsb) and ford won't be doing anything concerning this until the 2006 model year. I'm not trying to scare you, just letting you know what i found out. Maybe as another posted you could rent 2 vans or maybe 2 cars,it may even be cheaper the cars. Susan
