12-month to do list?

Hi there.

I wanted to know if anyone else out there starts their Disney "to do" list a year or more before the trip?

For us, we cannot make plane ressies until 330 days out (using FFM), so that's when my to do list starts.

A sample of what I have planned for our May '06 trip:

330 DAYS IN ADVANCE:
1. Make flight reservations using frequent flier miles

10 months:
1. Send emails for rental house
2. Start research for rental van

6 months:
1. Buy new running shoes, sandals, etc.
2. Double check PS deadlines
3. Have at least one rental van reserved by now
4. Buy car seat travel bag/cover

3 months:
1. Buy video camera?
2. Buy MYW tickets
3. Make PSs
4. Make list for toiletries, non-perishables and food items to pack
5. Make sure DS has shoes/sandals

1 month:
1. Find ride to airport
2. Pull out suitcases and carry-on bags
3. Start buying toiletries and non-perishables
4. Make countdown chart

2 weeks
1. Find a doggie-sitter
2. Start putting trip clothes on the side
3. Start packing carry-ons
4. “Pack” travel wallet – don’t forget MYW tickets!!!
6. Get traveler’s checks and cash

1 week
1. Start packing
