12 digit number and linking again

It's been a couple of years since I did this - is there a foolproof way of finding out the 12 digit number these days?
Also, the dining reservation system seems not to accept dates longer that 180 days out, so is it no longer possible to link the reservation (and confirm the number is therefore correct) before 180 days?

Get your 12 digit number from who you booked with or try the UK reservation number.
http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/reservations/dining/
Click on sign in log in or create an account if you don't have one.
Click on My reservaions & Retrieve Reservations enter details, should show you your hotel package.
Just checked mine it says
186 days until my vacation!

Thanks - I was going via the dining page and that wouldn't let me enter an earlier arrival date. Called Disney but their systems are apparently down so they are unable to pull up my 12 digit number today, so I'll call back another time...

You should be able to pull up your hotel reservation via the link I posted(just checked again its working no problems), you won't be able to do anything with meals until your 180 days, it tells you how many days before you can make your ADR's once you log in.
