It was now time for dinner. We were dressed and ready to go, and the girls could hardly contain their excitement at the thought of seeing Adrian and the new Zoltan again.

We had the PLAPLAP rotation, so off to Parrot Cay we went, and there waiting for us was Adrian. He seemed happy to see us, introduced us to the new Zoltan, and being as I am Hungarian and so is he, we started conversing right away. I am so thrilled to meet fellow Hungarians, and I was told that there about 20 Hungarians on the Magic! I met about 10 of them over the course of the week, so I was in Heaven.

I can't remember what we did after dinner, but I do remember that my youngest had started satisfying her Mickey Bar and ice cream addiction right away! We did end up walking around a bit to reorient ourselves and to show SIL around, but it is all a blur after that, and I wasn't even drinking! I did however take some Dramamine, so I blame that. ;)

It was early to bed for us, as we were all tired. The boat was rocking a bit, I was glad for the Dramamine, my girls thought it was a great ride and fell asleep when their heads hit the pillows. I followed shortly afterwards.

The next morning, first thing out of youngest DD's mouth was, "Do they have Mickey Bars at breakfast?" Um, no, but they do have sausage and eggs, so she was dressed and ready to go before the rest of us had rolled out of bed. My youngest loves food, especially food on a cruise.

After breakfast the girls swam a bit in the Goofy pool, but it became rather crowded so they got out and we got ready to watch the docking at Key West from our verandah. It is always interesting to watch the docking and the departures, and I don't think I could ever cruise again without a verandah. I like just being able to sit and watch the world go by from my own little quiet spot, although that quiet spot often had two girls filled with questions out there, too!

DH decided to go snorkeling with his sister, so the girls and I went into Key West after lunch and explored on our own. We took the Bone Island Shuttle (only $7, kids were free!) got off when we wanted to, stopped at the Southernmost Point and took pictures, bought a coconut for $2 from a guy that was putting holes in them and straws to drink the juice (my girls had to try this - for $2, I could not deny them the enjoyment), checked out the beach, and then headed back to the pier. We were hoping for a nice sunset, unfortunately clouds took over.:(

Instead, we saw some wild chickens, the girls wanted to pet them, but I would not let them, then we saw some cats, actually lots of cats! We love cats and dogs, have 3 cats and a dog at home, so whenever my family sees animals, they must go touch them. These cats actually came up to us, so I let the girls pet them, they were very tame, purring constantly. We had to leave the cats though as it was now time to go see the Catman and his trained cats at the dock!

It was a fun show to watch, but we did not see the whole thing, as it was getting time for dinner, and my family does not miss dinner!:) Adrian and Zoltan were waiting, so off we went.

Dinner was great as always, youngest had her Mickey Bar again, and after dinner we were off to meet a childhood friend of mine that lives on Key West. SIL stayed behind, enjoying music.

I had a nice visit with my friend, and my girls entertained themselves by playing with my friend's dog. Suddenly, youngest DD came over and said that she thought we should be going. I looked at my watch, which I know I had just looked at a moment ago and it had said 8:50, but now it said 9:20, and we had to get on the ship by 9:45!!! My heart stopped, we all ran out the door, my friend drove as fast as possible to get us there safely, and we made it with 3 minutes to spare! Whew, youngest DD saved the day (and the cruise). What I don't understand is how my watch went from 8:50 to 9:20 in about a minute's time? I was just glad youngest DD spoke up!:D

After the wild dash back to the boat, we all plopped into bed and prepared for another day. Tomorrow was a sea day, and relaxation and our Palo's Champagne Brunch were in order!

I was looking on-line about some of the acts on Mallory Square, and the Catman caught me eye. I'm going to track him down when we are in Key West.

Thanks for posting and sharing your trip!
