I saw a recent post with an iteniary but I cannot seem to find it now?
We are going with my 2 yo daugher in a couple weeks. It seems to me, the plan was to get to the opening parade early. Then go to some ride, then somewhere else, etc.etc. Then go get a nap and come back for the night time fireworks.
She really likes Winnie the Pooh. She's starting to like Mickey. I don't think she will remember much about the trip when she gets older, but she will enjoy it now.
We are staying at the Holiday Inn Nikki Bird, which is supposed to be outside the gate at Disney. We just went on priceline and thats what came up. We will only be there for that Wednesday.
Her Nanna and Granny live in Fl, so we will visit again sometime before she turns 3.
I'm just trying to get some insight on things to do with this age? Without getting caught in alot of the long lines.
Any iteniaries that have worked good for others is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

As far as strict itinerary, I would steer clear of that with a 2 year old. Too much you cant plan for.

Generally speaking, 2 year olds will adore fantasyland. The lines get long as the day goes on. I would go straight to fantasyland in the am and beat the crowds. Ride pooh and dumbo and peter pan and the carousel and its a small world.

I THINK toontown character meets generally open a little after the rest of the park (check the times guide at the gate), after spending an hour or so in fantasyland I would head to toontown to meet the characters and see the houses.

You could then grab a bite to eat, and stroll around or ride the train so dd can get some rest before the afternoon parade. If she will sleep in a stationary stroller, grab a good parade spot and rest.

Hope this helps you. Im sure others will have things to add/change which is fine with me!

We took ds at 23 months and had a great time.

We took our 2 yo twins this past summer. The only advice I would give you is to BE FLEXIBLE! We had an awesome time and I would do it again in a heartbeat. We just went with the flow though. If at noon they were cranky, we left. Maybe we would come back later, maybe not. Just follow your child's cues and your trip will be much more enjoyable! Have a GREAT time. :sunny:
