Well, Alaskan Mommy and crew are headed back to Alaska this evening. My DH and kids are too. I had to stop in Seattle for some medical issues. I was kind of a killer 5 hour flight home on Alaska Air. They don't have the wide jets so it was a bit cramped. My kids were superstars!! Of course being from Alaska they have been flying since they were weeks old.

Our family had fun on the cruise, the kids loved the clubs. When I picked up DS on the last night he was crying and there was a line up of several CM's who specificly came over to say goodbye. We might try it again but not in the immediate future. We are going to HI to visit Grandpa next.

Finally got home and am dead tired.

Poor Hannah was sick all day once in the airport and twice on the plane. I felt sorry for the people around us on the plane.

I am heading to bed. All the late nights are catching up with me. But wanted to check in.

My husband was at guest services when a woman in front of him said it was her dad who was in the medivac. Just what he heard.

We had fun!!!!!! I want to be back in Orlando!

UGH! I cant believe its over! Here I am back at work and I woke up this morning with ice on my car!
All the counting down and excitement and its over! I am having after vacation depression.
Although... it was a great trip!

We are all home safely. Basil Fox is probably at work. DH is also at work. MinL got home safely to Indiana. Other son is in bed with Strep Throat.
I am MAJORLY depressed. No more countdown!!!!! What will I do with myself????
No snow on the ground in Troy, MI although, there was snow when we dropped off BF at Northville!
Slept for 12 hours. Now to the unpacking.......Also, have to get Milk and Cereal. Where are Yves (Head Server), Lous (Server) and Lazlo (Asst. Server) when I need them. A little Bagels, Cream Cheese and Lox would be good right about now.
The MAGIC and meeting our Dis people ......the best of the best ! Mousefest ast WDW was awesome! The Dis Meet with Pete and Walter, Kevin and John was great. BF and I must have ridden the Toy Story Mania about 20 times. My right arm was about the fall off but it was soooooo much fun! The ride is somewhat like Buzz Lightyear but in 3 D. The whole party was the cherry on the pie of the whole trip.......
I am already freezing up here. When I got off the plane, even in the jet way, I was frozen.
Again, thanks for meeting all of you and for all the PRE cruise excitement.

Next, for us might be Disneyland Paris, Tokyo Disney or Hong Kong Disney. Have to see what happens with GM and the bailout......

Who the heck wore all these clothes I am washing right now.... And every one of my son's has chocolate sauce on it from the ice cream station.

We booked a 2010 one too at the same time. I think that will chance to but we wanted to lock in the room credit and price for now.

I am pretty tired today still and have so much Christmas stuff to do now I don't know which way to turn.

The kids Christmas pageant is tomorrow night already and they only have school this week and then are off for two weeks over Christmas. Which means Santa better get her butt moving to wrap and finish buying before they are home for the holidays.

Not to mention the cookie making that has to be done! That is a tradition of mine to bake cookies for both sides of the family. This year I think there will be less kinds. I usually do 10-13 different ones.

I want to be on the ship sitting in a lounge chair right now.....

I agree... that ship chair sounds amazing about now! I came back to work to a pile of things to do and the stress to go with it!
Needless to say I am now sick from going from 80 degree weather to 10 degree weather!
I did all my laundry yesterday after I slept for 14 hours! YES... 14 hours! I guess I needed to recover from my vacation!
I just added some of my dinner food pics to the DCL food pics thread! I definitely could've used a filet and a chocolate souffle last night for dinner!
Our servers Julien and Nergis were great as well!
I am SO sorry I missed the pic in the Promenade Lounge! I feel so stupid... in all the excitement I did not even think about it! Sorry because I really wanted to be there! I did get to meet alot of you as well! It was nice to meet other DCL and Dis fans like myself!

I am back at work today too. It is not as cold as where some of you other folks are, but it is chilly for San Diego (and very rainy too). I'd like to have some more of that Caribbean weather. This was the first cruise I've been on in over two years, and I'm ready for another one (but not without the kids this time... I missed them the whole trip!)

It was great to meet some of you! I'm sorry I didn't get to meet you all. If I get my act together I will post some photos on Joy's Snapfish site.

Yeah, I was going to say that he looked quite a bit older than 39. I was watching thru my stateroom window on floor 2, so I could see pretty well. I used my 300mm lens to see a little better, but did not photograph his face (felt a little disrespectful). I also heard that he had suffered a heart attack on the last sea day (Thursday?), so I was wondering why they waited until so late in the day to fly him to the main land. The helicopter said Children's Hospital of Miami.

It was nice meeting you on the cruise. You guys were up to 12 cruises right? I think I sat with you at the Castway club meet. Hope I got the right person. Hard to keep you all straight.

My kids had the rice krispie mickey's for dessert tonight. And my dd took some in to school for her friends.

I did see the honeymooners on the last night at the Farewell in the Lobby. They told me they were going back to tell people they just got married. How cool is that, they kept it a secret from some of their families.

I am going through pictures... took over 1200+.... not many great ones... lots of food, not so many of family, lol. The waterproof Pentax is not the best quality... the Olympus was better. Wish I'd remembered to bring DH's Canon Elph because that one takes awesome pics... my dSLR was on auto for most of the trip and I hate the way it judges exposure in auto but I didn't feel like thinking too much either.

We just arrived home last night. Spent 2 days in Orlando. Went to MVMCP and it was fantastic!! Still trying to adjust to being back home. Girls deffinately did'nt want to head out to school this morning!! And the weather stinks!! LOL Now to get through all the clothes washing, pic sorting and christmas decorating!! Was wonderful meeting all of you that we were able to!! We are in the process of trying to decide on buying DVC membership. I am pretty sure that is what we will be doing.....can you say HOOKED!! The emergency on board was a older man....his daughter was standing next to us as he was being air evacted out. He had a heart attack the day prior and was stable to fly until following day. One of the sons accompanied him to hospital. Hope he is doing alright. Will post some pics once I figure out how!! LOL

GREAT slideshow Joy!! (And I thought it was bad when my sister sent me all 1109 of HER photos!!) That really gives me motivation to get my photos in order and sync then up to music!!

Still recovering from the temperature transition....at least we didn't come home to ice everywhere and no power, like some poor folks in MA!! And my illness started on Thursday night, so I am getting better now. All because of leaving Mickey......(sigh)

Great meeting everyone, and I can't wait to see more of the photos!! (Like the one of the group I am NOT in!! My own fault!)

I have them but don't know exactly how I would post them. Is there something that you what to know specifically.

I can't answer about the servers, we never had any of those that you listed and I didn't pay that much attention to the others at breakfeast, lunch etc.
